Your feet are important.
They connect you to the world and are the root of your strength. The foundation that your body and your power are built on.
I guarantee that your feet are probably fucked from spending your whole life cramming them into retarded modern footwear.
Your feet have been going through cock and ball torture your whole life, that's what causing your knee and back pain anon.
At least, I now know after years of knee problems that it was my feet all along. So lets have a tread about fixing our feet.
Look at your feet, if you answer no to any of these, you have work to do:
>you have a clearly defines arch
>your big toe is pointed slightly inward, with a clear gap between your other toes (pic rel)
>stand up in a normal, comfortable position. Where are your feet pointing? Are they pointing forwards, or slightly outward? (duck feet)
>can you run a 5k barefoot/in minimalist shoes without your ankles hurting?
Post anything from:
>fixing fallen arches
>fixing your gait
>fixing your duck feet
>Improving ankle strength
>barefoot training
>minimalist footwear suggestions
>proper running form
The perfect foot is between left and right.
Not squished from tight shoes and not chimp-like.
monke feet gud
no, what a retarded centrist take
>the perfect foot is only a little bit mangled
gtfo retard
retarded
only a little bit of poo in my latte sir!
>fixed my duck feet
Stretching and twisting so my knees face forward with my feet
Took 2 years to completely fix
My back is much better
I haven't worn shoes since the pandemic started
Started running in these Freet Pace minimalist shoes.
Cheap and very comfy. First few times I really hurt my knees though, because it turned out I was heel striking, once my form was fixed there were no issues. I've noticed that my toes are starting to spread out.

Freet Footwear, they do all kinds of styles.
This is the pair I have, I also have some trail running shoes from them, they look like clown shoes but all hiking sneakers do. 10/10 would recommend. They ship in EU, dunno about US

Only £80 in EU, its the shipping fees yank
doctors say you should scrape excess dead skin on your feet but why
it's probably protecting living skin underneath when I'm standing a lot
doctors also recommend 5 servings of pasta per day and say eggs are bad for you
outside of medical emergencies, theyre retarded
Pasta is good energy anon. Don't get the egg hate though.
yeah, but 5 times a day?
pic rel
1 serving of flour amounts to 150 calories. Honestly the serving system is dumb, and we should just be counting macros.
5 servings does not 5 different meals, a serving refers to portion size, you can eat 5 servings of pasta in a single meal
>dairy, eggs and meat bad
>pasta and bread good
I fucking hate doctors so much bros
pasta and bread is good ketohomosexual
nothing wrong with them, but you should eat more eggs and meat than bread
simple as
hahahaha
On average with very few exceptions Low simple carbs wrapped and then wrapped in layers of fiber
And complex carbohydrates are objectively healthier for humans than simple carbohydrates. Keto peeps have a solid point, it’s the ones that say ‘consuming 0 carbs for an entire adult life is health optimal’ who are bullshitting cultists.
Specifically doctors who took wheat board money to lie out the ass.
food pyramid has been debunked years ago, they don't recommend it anymore
>doctors use the food pyramid
Holy shit anon just woke up from a 2 decade coma
Gotta sell that wheat, bitches. Who gives a fuck if it screws up entire generations that try and do the right thing by 'eating right'
bros im on loaf number 8 for today and my third stick of butter (thank god), i dont think i can do the food pyramind.... anyone have any idea what i can do to loss weight
Eat meat, dairy, eggs, fruit and fast
>doctors also recommend 5 servings of pasta per day
since when?
Doctors are just footfags then
Because your feet would naturally exfoliate if you were always barefoot in nature.
I wish I had barefoot shoes, but I literally can’t afford anything right now. My saving grace is not going anywhere, so I’m always barefoot in the house. I’m curious is barefoot socks are a thing
There's cheap ones out there
And yeah there's those rubber toe sock things that you can run in
toe socks and toe spacers
Buy stuff from Xero shoes helps. Their shoes have wide toe boxes so the balls of your feet can expand naturally when walking and standing.
I have xero shoes but I have tried brands on Amazon that cost 80 dollars less and they are close to the same quality. If xero made their shoes in America I’d be okay with the price but it’s likely they are made in the same factory the 40 dollar Amazon minimalist shoes are.
I'd rather not give money to Amazon if I can help it. I'll take spending a but more over giving cash to an unethical company.
I have 2 pairs of xeros and they good but they have ethical drop shoes made in Europe
I understand your sentiment but giving your money to a company that charges their shoes at a premium when they don’t last longer than the same shoes that I buy on Amazon, and they still make them overseas which doesn’t help our own economy doesn’t really make that much sense either. I like the look of xero shoes better but it’s very hard to justify the cost when I’ve actually had the Amazon shoes (WHITIN brand) last longer than the pair that I bought from xero that I use for running and lifting
Yeah, that’s the disappointing thing about Xero is they cost $100+ and are still made in China. I will say my pair has held up way better than any Nike Free model I’ve ever owned however.
I am not posting my feet you foot coomer
Don't wear extremely tight shoes.
I haven't worn shoes since middle school. I basically wear sandals without a toe strap or walk barefoot. I will only wear boots in war.
Are toe spacers worth it?
I've got some and they're great, used to get cramps in my left leg every night while asleep, they've completely gone ever since I started wearing the spacers. They also last pretty much forever. Correct Toes is the best imo, wear them with toe socks inside some Lems shoes for virtually any sport you like
I use some cheap ones during the day when I am sitting down with my shoes off from time to time, just feels nice to give my toes a stretch.
Started wearing adidas ultraboost and my feet have become much wider I guess bc they're not restricted at all.
10/10 shoes would recommend to everyone
>that heel
YIKES
Barefoot/zero drop/ minimalist shoes changed my life.
Vibram Five Fingers saved my back. They look ridiculous but they are the best thing I've ever worn in my life
My $40 amazon minimalist shoes are more comfortable than my vibram's at over 2x the price.
Same, had a fucked up leg/foot from an old injury for the last ~10 years. Recently ditched the garbage custom orthotics and never going back to hack fraud doctors again. Have Five Fingers and Xero sandals and never going back.
I get the general sentiment, but every major running shoe brand offers wide or even extra wide options.
Never for the toes though mate, that's the point
pretty sure most of this damage is from my steel toe work boots. next pair is definitely gonna be the widest they have and I'll try seeing if I can make some progress with toe spacers. it's crazy seeing the bone of the smallest toe going like 60 degrees to the left and then the actual toe cutting back hard right. wouldn't have ever thought anything of it if not for these threads
this line of thinking is very sound and I would honestly adopt minimalist shoes IF I wasn't a measly 5'7'' manlet ... can't give up on a couple of inches when I have none to spare
This is an endorsement or anything because I haven't bought any pairs yet but this brand of barefoot shoes seem interesting to me. Has anyone here tried them yet?
vivobarefoot.com/us/
Vivo is good, Lems are also good
Lems are garbage. They are flat-soled shoes for normies who never wear flat soles shoes. To someone who wears actual flat-soled shoes Lems are like normie shoes. I ordered a pair off of eBay and immediately gave them away to a friend after I tried them on.
lmao check out Trump here
I love flat-soled shoes. I can’t in good conscience let anyone recommend Lems. They are not good shoes.
Picrel is the pic I took and sent to my friend asking if he wanted them.
What do you think of Altra shoes?
I also love flat soled shoes and have used a pair of Lems for basketball and indoor soccer for years when every other brand has fallen apart after a month of playing. Plus, I can wear my toes spacers inside them, which is virtually impossible in most other brands. If you're a roooooner then yes, there's better options out there, but for actual sports Lems work well
vivo is good, but the ones that do it for me are wildlings.
wildlings are made of canvass (cotton) instead of plastic mesh. your skin absorbs chemicals more than you know and unless you're wearing socks you're doing yourself a disservice.
if you do the no sock route (my preferred route), splurge a little and get the wool inserts, 10x better than the default ones.
also they're less expensive than vivo.
I'm right in between two sizes, would you recommend I go for the smaller or the larger?
Yeah these shoes (barefoot, not that brand) were one of the two things that fixed my backpain, the other was starting to sleep on a japanese style futon (basically thick blanket on the ground) instead of a mattress. My backpain was excruciating and needed pain meds, now I'm fine.
a 6ft guy hunched over in pain is seen as more repulsive than a manlet, trust me.
based thread
i have been wearing vivos for years no can't go back to normal shoes. Never heard of Wildlings seems interesting not in the market for new shoes right now tho since the vivos last so long, maybe the next shoe get tho
Do I have flat feet?

Are you sure? I think my footprint looks like theyre normal arched

Buy direct from the manufacturer then you retard
How to train ankle mobility bros
When I squat I tend to go and lean forwards, when rowing I just bounce off my front feet and can't put my whole feet flat
How do I fix this? The way I naturally walk wears down the outer side of my shoes really fast. Will ankle mobility exercises help me?
toe spreaders will help with that, I had the same issue previously. Also practice not heel-striking when you walk
Thanks, I'll look into toe spreaders. Ordered some on Amazon
I have worn xero shoes exclusively since 2016. They fixed my excruciating back pain. I’ll never wear another shoe. I have like 10 pairs that I wear for different occasions. Zelens and speed force are my favorites. HFS is great for casual wear. 360’s are what I wear to work. The sandals make me feel like a 5 year old running through the playground. Denvers are great when it’s cold or I hop on my motorcycle. The Hanas are the best slip-ons have ever worn and I have two pair of aptos to wear around the house. I also have a pair of black leather Hanas in case I need to dress up.
What are some barefoot shoes that don't look like shit/aren't clown shoes?
I remember I had this total milf just suck my toes and feet hour a solid hour
Shit was cash
>your big toe is pointed slightly inward, with a clear gap between your other toes
Makes me wonder if the Japanese Tabi shoes where the big toe is seperated from the other toes are even better than the regular flat/wide toe shoes we have in the west.
I was curious about minimalist footwear (I try not to say "barefoot shoes" cause ya know) for a little while and ended up getting some vibram five fingers for a good price. I haven't looked back. I'm not really qualified to talk about athletic performance or whatever but I do appreciate being "closer the ground" when it comes to balance and stability. Specific to the vibram 5 fingers the traction is imo unparalleled, this is most evident when doing stuff with the prowler as you can really engage your big toe. it sounds silly and "majoring in the minors" but its pretty obvious when you're doing it. I used the five fingers for running and gym (they replaced both my running shoes and my weightlifting shoes) but of course they are a bit out there for daily normal use. I got some minimalist but normal shoes from aliexpress. the search engine on that site isn't great but "bjakin" "2020 new water shoes" should get you close. They are super cheap (£16 in my case) and have held up really well for daily use over the last 8 months. This was the last nail in the coffin for me using normal shoes, within a few months my saloman hiking boots were quite tight so I replaced them with a set of vivos. These were quite expensive but I haven't been impressed by merrel or saloman in recent years and i think there is a bit of "shrinkflation" going on - the prices have been the same but less quality. I have since got a set of smart looking shoes from vivo for when i am in the office and such.
who here has ingrown toenails? I have 1 on each big toe but the right one is becoming excruciating. Any tips?
You gotta get a nail file under there and file off the sharp bits
My feet looks like the one on the right even tho I am never barefoot and I walk in shoes all day.
You were gifted with goods feet genetics
Alright maybe not exactly like those but imho not too bad.
If you spend hours postulating about the width between your toes and if your feet resemble some nagger bushman, you obviously have way, WAY too much free time
>if you spend time thinking about how to fix your health you have WAY too much time
Shut up mr shekelstein, I will NOT go back to work
Oy vey goy! You should be out there making me some money! Come now, put your cuck shoes on and get to work in the office!
