    Yes.

    >I really do not want to fuck my back
Oh, but you will, eventually, because your back is weak and you didn't learn the technique.

Then you should strengthen it with deadlifts and good mornings. Learn the technique and don't egolift and you'll be fine. Abs also work to stabilize the back, so make sure you're not neglecting core work.

OHP with less than 1pl8 is not dangerous

Replace squat with safer squat variants like lunges and Bulgarians and sure. For OHP, do seated OHP.

Deadlifts are better at building strength than size imo, so you wouldn't really have to do the substitutes if you want size.

Yes, everything you just mentioned are just egolifts and not needed at all if your goals are mainly size, squat can be replaced by any squat like movement or machines, for shoulders lateral raises is what gives you the most size, and deadlift could be replaced with hip thrusts, leg curls and back extensions

    >what is calisthenics

Agreed. Wear and tear on joints is not good. You don't need a 600lbs or whatever deadlift to gain muscle.

Like shit, I have a rubber band, and I put my arms out in front of me and pull it apart. I have powerlifter friends who can't do that. They have very little real world functional muscles.

      >dont need a 600lb deadlift
But I am gonna go for it anyways. The first 400lbs were fun to work for, what is 200 more? Oh you don’t like pushing yourself I guess. Then don’t expect results like those that have.
