posting here because idk fitness and health kinda. also needles make me think of steroids
watched pic rel and I just find drug addicts so weird in an interesting way. they are like the complete opposite of lifters. are drug users doomed to ngmi? why would anyone take drugs when you could be roiding? is there aren't IST drugs?
>progressive underload
That's called "chipping" and it doesn't really work.
why not? The same way adding a microplate doesn't feel much different to your lifts a very small decrease in dosage will still be enough to not feel shitty surely? but over time it will build up to a substationally weaker dose and you will be accustomed to less = eventually quitting no?
Tapering require higher discipline bc you have the product with you.
Really depend on the personality, some are better tapering down, others cold turkey, if it's possible (addictions others than alcohol, morphine or benzos).
They're heroin addicts you dumb fuck. If they've got enough for a full dose they're going to take the full dose every time.
A feeling 1000 times better than sex, 1000 times better than any other drug. You think they're bother to taper off? Or sell their belongings for another hit?
I don’t do drugs so figure it out?
OP just found out drugs exist
yes
>watched pic rel and I just find drug addicts so weird in an interesting way. they are like the complete opposite of lifters.
c'mon, Episode I wasn't THAT bad
>quit drugs with progressive underload
it makes them feel progressively worse
>yeah I'm just going to feel real shitty for months on end even though I have a stash which will not only make it go away but also make me feel wonderful.
Just doesn't work
that sounds like only a problem if you're making your increments too aggressive. there has to be a point where there's no way you can tell the difference between each hit
Heroin addicts aren't known for their self-control and discipline
Drug use increases tolerance, which makes each dose feel less to begin with. Prolonged use is going to increase tolerance, so while you're tapering off, it feels like even less of a hit than you're already reducing it. Withdrawal symptoms kick in and a drug addict will do what a drug addict does.
I mean heroin is a dumb fucking drug to do but there's lots of shit that's a blast. Try LSD when you can, good shit.
Subhuman vermin (below 110 IQ and midwits at around 125IQ) don't think the way you, or me do friend. They just accept whatever the life throws at them like good little sheep they are. But that's the thing - excellency wouldnt exist if there were no losers around wouldn't it? It works the same way as grades do in school - if everyone got A+ grades, then that would become the new average, and average isn't excellency. We were made for great things so enjoy. Do not worry your mind about peasants and their "problems".
i've done a bunch of drugs and never understood heroin.
didn't do it enough// but apparently from friend's accounts it's so hard to quit because a hit of heroin feels like a dozen stacked orgasms.
psychedelics are based though
>I would recommend going hiking/camping with some good friends and smoking hashish and eating psilocybin mushrooms. and feel like earthy wizards
t. 31 and lost a few friends to drug OD's
>why can't you just quit all drugs with progressive underload?
If you mean like tapering down.
You can't quit that way because drugs are addictive. You can't adjust to a lower dose because the physiological desire makes you want to hit the same or higher dose that you had last.
If you don't hit the same high, all you do is prolong the desire for more drugs, rather than starving out the desire through cold turkey until it goes.
It's a lot harder than it sounds. If you're miserable enough to get yourself addicted in the first place, your life probably isn't very good. And then trying to taper off the one thing that gives you pleasure is like intense heartbreak that causes you actual physical and psychological torture.
There's a lot of people on earth. Think of how many of them walk into the gym, with the intention of working hard now for a long term goal. Cut that down to only the people who don't get distracted/prevented, and actually have the structure/discipline to achieve it.
That small slice of humanity is about the same portion as how many junkies can get themselves off drugs. It's simple but not easy.
The other problem is that some drugs will permanently damage your brain and body in ways that disrupt you life for as long as you live. Using anything for 30 years could probably do that to some people, but some drugs will do it in less than a few years sometimes, like heroin, meth, cocaine, and alcohol, as well as psychiatric pharmaceuticals like antipsychotics, lithium, tricyclics, and definitely benzos.
My brain is extremely damaged from heavy alcohola and sporadic drug use in the last 10 years. The last nail in the coffin was giving up pregabalin which fucked me up for good. I now take just a bit prega and drink like 3 a night. The anxiety is unbearable. I would kill myself immediately if i didnt have loved ones who will mourn me. Pls help.
it's fine bro just follow the tips I suggested in this awesome thread I made
