You might want to try doing piston squats and glute ham raises to grow your lower body (if your face is really that bad, a ginormous ass is going to save you 100%). I've been working out for a while now and those two exercises made my ass bigger than most women have.

Imo if you want to be conventionally attractive, so 7+/10, you need conventionally attractive features. Which I don't have. I enjoy taking care of myself, but I realize it's also all a cope bc I'm not naturally beautiful.

After extensive research, I have come to agree with OP. Butterface is kind of a myth. There is only one exception: mentally retarded women (or women with some other mental handicap, including severe fetal alcohol syndrome). And I really mean "only one exception." I knew two girls who had literally been burned across their face, Phantom of the Opera -esque, and they were still attractive so long as they were fit.
This was the closest thing I could find to a butterface, and we all know that men would still find this woman attractive. Every other woman I saw as an example of a butterface literally made themselves that way with a terrible application of makeup, surgery, or drugs.

The woman you posted is unironically a 6.5/10, if she fixed her hair and maybe went to the orthodontist to get removable braces (I assume her teeth are crooked with that face), her score would go up to 9.
The exceptions you mentioned fall into the category of deformities in my opinion (if she was mentally retarded but not deformed, she would still be a 9 as long as she didn't open her mouth to talk).
That would require doing actual work which they don't want to do. The only thing women are willing to put in work for is short term solutions like putting on whore clothes and make-up judt so they can get Chad's attention.
When all (or almost all) women were thin, there used to be a type of woman described as "plain". That descriptor was applied to the least pretty set of thin women.
Now that almost all women are fat, that category does not exist any more. All (or very nearly all) thin women are now considered attractive, because they are so rare. The "butterface" becomes more and more rare every year.
