When creating a recipe and you want the total recipe weight in grams, how do you weight it? For example a pot of ingredients thats too small for a food scale. Do you weigh it holding it then stepping on a body weight scale? I dont wang the recipe in portions thats why im doing this.
>For example a pot of ingredients
Did you measure each individually before throwing it into the pot?
Can you buy a larger scale with a larger pressure plate to hold a larger bowl for a larger volume of food?
>Do you weigh it holding it then stepping on a body weight scale?
kek, nice one
Get kitchen scales.
I have one but its small
>When creating a recipe and you want the total recipe weight in grams
No, you don't. Why would you?
Knowing the weight of a each ingredient helps to follow the recipe, although it's unnecessary.
Knowing the weight of all the ingredients in a recipe tells you nothing, other than how much this shit weights.
>a pot of ingredients thats too small for a food scale
>a pot of ingredients too small
>for a food scale
>kitchen scales are small
Which one it is?
By weighing all the ingredients i get in gram and not servings. So when i wanna log it in grams later
my kitchen scale goes from 1g-3000g
it's never been an issue and i use it often
Have i done it correct? I use lose it. "total receptstorlek" =total recipe weight
Portionsstorlek= serving size
>Tomater
LMAO
It means crushed tomatoes. Its swedish
Yeah but it's funny to say in American.
Fellow Swedefag. Tjena!
I don't know why you don't just look at the calories on the packaging or look up common calorie densities for unlabeled foods and then add them up. It's what I use my graphing calculator from school for.
You making POTATIS and köttfärssås? Weirdo.
I stopped using that app because it makes recipes cumbersome. Myfitnesspal or cronometer are better
Just weigh each thing you out in or even measure like tablespoons teaspoons and make the recipe. Then suppose you divide it into 4 servings, just mark it as 4 servings. You don’t need to weigh each serving because it all adds up at the end. If you eat 49% then 51% the next day you still ate 100% over 2 days so it doesn’t matter if it gets logged as 50% then 50%
I did did
>too small for a good scale
What kind of scalws do you use? You can buy scales with 1g accuracy for less than usd10.
Juat tare the weight of the pot and throw everything in the pot. The scales will show you the weight without the pot.
Voila
you didnt put the pasta in the calculator, retar
I added it by itself retard. I added rapeseed oil to the recipe though
Usch.
Tror du du skulle komma undan med att kalla nån efterbliven irl, förresten? Känns lite skönt att kunna säga saker.
