Is funds an issue? A decent set of adjustable dumbbells and an adjustable bench would probably run you about 3-400usd. Bought how much I spent on mine. Could get a jump rope for cardio, I like stationary bikes tho so that was another 200 for me.
Bodyweight, just go for ottermode. The only thing you need is a pull up bar and maybe some parallettes. You're not going anywhere, you may as well be doing high frequency, high volume bodyweight. If you don't want to do that is you best option. Adjustable dumbbells are a more expensive initial purchase but scale very well. You actually have to stick with it though.
Pull-up bar req'd. Pull ups and pushups get boring on their own, so resistance bands are a decent supplement for extra volume as a novice wanting variation.
Go pick up a set with different resistances for $10-20. Do slow controlled reps to learn the mind-muscle connection before you invest in actual weights or a gym membership, and bands should serve you well.
You can do some creative shit with bands, too.
Do you do the pull up bar and the bands? I thought they trained the same muscles. My junky ass house can't support one on the doors or else they break lmfao

Squats and lunges. You can mix it up with close and wider stance squats. In theory you can do calf raises but it takes such absurd volume to matter it's almost not worth it. If you are willing to go outside walking/running hills is infinitely better. Can also do donkey kicks with the bands to work glutes if you think you need it.

The bands can be used for a number of things. Rows, curls, deadlift to an extent. There's a host of ways to do it, just hit yt and take a look for a variation using a band. You can work rows and shoulder press with the bands but it's not quite the same as the pull up motion and if you can figure out where to do them pull up/chin up are an essential movement.
Bodyweight is a fucking scam, you'll make zero gains.
Get yourself a kettlebell, start with a water jug and some duct tape.
Pirate the book "simple and sinister" by Pavel Tsatsouline, it's a good start if you know nothing about lifting.
Kettlebell swings are very good for your back, which is probably shit from sitting on your ass all day long. OHP or side press are good too, pullup bars can fuck your door frame but if you have the money for a pullup tower or whatever get one of those. Floor presses (to alternate with OHP), goblet squats, bent over row, snatches (once you get good), clean&jerk (full body, you can just do that and nothing else)
Just remember: 3 minutes of rest between each sets to replenish glycogen stores. Intensity is more important than reps or weight. One rest day at least after every workout day, except when you're an ultra beginner.
Once you can do 3x8 and aren't blasted time to use a heavier weight (or do it faster to ramp up the intensity).
godspeed.

I know for a fact I am ferociously ugly but every once in a while I meet a girl who’s all over me. Just hang in there and be yourself

This but unironically. All you have to do is actually interact with other people
