Your arms simply don't have the leverage to pull yourself upwards all the way like that. Even just looking at the numbers, you're probably not capable of curling >50% of your bodyweight, let alone 100%, and if you are you should be able to tell your arms are not nearly as taxed while doing a chin up as they are curling or doing other arm exercises.
Doesn’t change that your biceps cheat you on the exercise. Try curling yourself up when you’ve fallen over a cliffside hanging on for life. Guess what idiot, YOUR USELESS AND GONNA DIE. What now?

Stop trying to backpedal. Your retarded ass said that chinups use the biceps [very small muscles] MORE than your lats [largest muscles in your entire fucking upper body]
chinups already work what pullups work + biceps
decline pushups already work what pushups work + shoulders
your point?
>chinups already work what pullups work + biceps
They work forearms and shoulders and traps less than pullups. It’s especially important to do both to avoid tendonitis >decline pushups already work what pushups work + shoulders
They barely work lower chest

Could you elaborate on the tendonitis ? Ive been running tons of chin ups and my elbow has been bothering me (although it seems like push day stuff is sketchier for it)
Well first of all instead of doing either ONLY DECLINE PUSHUPS AND CHINUPS or ONLY NORMAL PUSHUPS AND PULLUPS you could do all 4 of those things you idiot
bump
You would be really good at chin-ups and decline push-ups. However, you might lack some chest development due to not doing any pushups.
You would eventually get a stronger and more muscular upper body. Do normal pushups and do pull ups instead though.
You'd become ottermode
Chin ups hit the arms more than the lats, better for aesthetics
Pull ups work traps too and are harder to do, decline push ups was too easy to cheat at in my experience, but hey, just try and see.
>Chin ups hit the arms more than the lats
Completely false.
Elaborate?

Don't decline pushups hit the upper chest more which is better for aesthetics?
why are you both such obstinate retards
if youre going to go for calisthenics why would you limit yourself to 2 fucking movements
what else is there nagger
>what else is there nagger
Everything that can be done on rings

Pullups, dips, pike/handstand pushups, rows.
Add weight or do them on rings, progress or regress based on your strength.
Minimalism? Idk most people just want to look cool for as little effort as possible.
You would only do chin-ups.
Beat me to it
you will work out for years to get results similar to someone who went to the gym for 3 months
tennis elbow
I can show you if you're still interested. I escaped auschwitz mode and only did lunges, push ups, and pull ups, chin ups for 8 months.
post pics
It would be extremely painful
I'm a big guy
>decline push-ups
>do them anyway
>chin up
>still depressed
>deadlift
>still alive
