Super set and use another piece of equipment for different muscle group, or just zone out, stretch and chill. Chat with gym supervisors or trainers. Simple as.
Practice meditating.
This, once you kinda get it, then it's just being there. There is nothing to do, your body will just know when it's time to get up and do the next set.

I really don't understand how you guys have this problem. I'm just trying to recover and be ready for the next set. I feel like if I have the acuity to browse IST or text anything meaningful then I didn't really hit my last set hard enough.
