      this. Just do it the way the book says for the months it takes for the beginner gains to wear off and then start messin around once you got some strength.

        Well I don't want to do it because I'm not a novice and it's a bad program, but programming is almost always tweaked to fit the trainee, and the fact SS mindset can't even tolerate such a minor change is testament to how bad it is.

    Your delts will be even more tired and your ohp will suffer.
    In that case, make 1 day out of 3 a light day for the upper body, it's a simple enough solution.
    Overall, you might be leaving some gains on the table because of that, but if you're done with that who cares.
