Depends on what type of soldier, but that's why the ranking system exists. The less physically capable but more intelligent guy can contribute strategically, the more physically capable less intelligent guys do the grunt work ie follow orders. But 25ish is the happy medium. You're basically still an overdeveloped child at 18.
>send child soldiers to fight in the middle east >muhhamad and friends see their 72 virgins >+75 lust >muhhammadadad captures half the children alive after they shut down from the pressure like retarded kids

if i want a life of adventure and find the prospects of monotonous office jockey life, and proletariat manual labor drudgery suffocating then what would be the best path forward? Military seems kinda cucked now. A glow nagger? Mercenary work? I wouldn't mind necessarily mind sedentary intellectual work either, as long as it's exciting and has a higher purpose than wage slaving.
Idk. I love the skills you can learn but I don't want to sign up with all the woke shit going on. Ever since I saw Ghost in the Shell I thought that was my dream job, but seriously fuck becoming a cop or a glowie in current year.
>fuck becoming a cop or a glowie in current year
maybe. But it would be nice to have /ourguys/ on inside institutions like these.

Most work isn't interesting even if it's fulfilling.

The most fun job you could have would be to be a tour guide of some kind, or instructor for adventure sports.
Strategic efficiency is 100x more important than anything else.
Being able to coordinate, plan, gather & interpret intelligence, under stress, on the fly etc. and having a squad full of those kinds of people are much more massive boons than bein some early 20s fitness stud who thinks he's going to get the upper-hand in urban combat by just being fearless and a good shot who maybe knows the procedure for clearing rooms well.
Which buildings are you going to go in? Where is the enemy at? How many? Alternate points of engagement? Can you digest the info some guy with a UAV is radioing you and create actionable knowledge from it?
Where are the friendlies? Is there artillery? Where are they shooting from? Where's the battle line even?
So yeah a late 20s 30s guy who's decently smart and experienced enough not to fold under stress will prevail.
Sorry, I meant to post this to /k/. Mods could you please move it?
this is unironically one of the more on-topic/useful threads on this board right now.

I'd say mid-late 20s. Good conditioning and fitness after that time probably puts you into a good category.
Around 12

12 year olds can't aim for shit with their noodle arms

what do u specifically research anon?
Infrared imaging for brain research and breast cancer diagnostics. Specifically programming simulations to support imaging and data-analysis.
Special forces guys tend to be in their 30s, but that is arguably due to bureaucracy rather than them necessarily being more effective
Honestly, late 20s to early 30s for guys who have spent their lives soldiering and being fit
20s and 30s.
Of course skills don't matter when a missile can wipe out a base.
