I keep skipping workouts and meals
I only have a home gym(bench dumbells and pull up bar) which was well enough for me to get nice gains with a strict routine in the past but now I can't push myself to work out unless I have literally nothing to do
would going to an actual gym help since if I don't use it Id waste money?

just fucking do it, it cant possibly get any easier motivation wise than lifting at home, you dont have to go anywhere. make it a priority or dont let yourself do something more entertaining till its done whichever works just stop being a lazy cunt, youre ruining your own life and you dont even realise it yet

You don't necessarily have to do a full routine when you workout. Just to some exercises until you get into the habit of making it a regular thing. Eventually you'll feel "off" if you don't workout and you can build into a full body regiment

i tend to turn on the tv and watch news or dumb stuff
What helps keep me motivated is its my routine. I force myself to do it because I know I will feel better if I do it then if I skip it. It only takes an hour or an hour and a half and its a better more productive use of my time.
Just make it a habit, its not hard

it could work for you, it did for me. i hate wasting money so it forced me to go gym.
have you tried taking up a sport? when you play the sport, it doesn't even feel like exercise, it's more fun.
Try writing your objectives down on a list, it helps me.
