Got a massive motivation boost to train much harder after watching this.
How do they all have such perfect hairlines though. Do Korean men not have hairloss in their genetics or is it plastic surgery
Got a massive motivation boost to train much harder after watching this.
How do they all have such perfect hairlines though. Do Korean men not have hairloss in their genetics or is it plastic surgery
Was watching but stopped because I don’t want it to end
>bodybuilders performing like shit overall
What does this mean bros
>People who train for looks and muscle mass have less functional strength or endurance
Color me surprised
Bodybuilders aren't athletes anon hope this helps
>bodybuilders performing like shit overall
factually untrue, there were several bodybuilders in the semifinals
they btfod 80 other contestants
I don't think any of the bodybuilders failed to make the top 20.
>performing like shit overall
Unnecessary bulk not aimed at anything athletic. The BB's did better than I expected though actually, so respect to that.
They like to call themselves as such, and their activity as a sport
That doesn't mean it is one or that they are
Bodybuilding is pageantry not athletics
100% agree
Bodybuilding (specifically) is one of the most worthless hobbies in existence
>worthless hobbies
Ok, rank bodybuilding and the following from most to least worthless:
>Playing polo
>Dressage
>Sailing
>Sculpture
>Collecting watches or art
>Fantasy football
>Calligraphy
>Following fashion trends
>Scrimshaw/whittling
>Shuffleboard
>Badminton
>Bocceball
>Videogames in a competitive but non-professional setting
>Fly fishing (catch and release)
>Birdwatching
>Jet skiing
>Dungeons and Dragons or board games
NTA but this is the faggiest response to just some banter. Relax anon. Only you can allow yourself to seethe like this.
My point is that most hobbies are pretty worthless. I mean, that's why they're largely worthless. If they were more valuable they'd be a job
I would honestly put them all above bodybuilding. Fitness and training and tremendous. Bodybuilding, waste of time and energy.
I wouldn't hate them as much if they at least did some cardio. These sideways walking baffoons get out of breath after walking up 1 set of stairs. It's pathetic honestly.
it means bodybuilders performing like shit overall
>Crossfitter wins
Bros…
Also man I didn’t know how intense luging was, they all did great.
To be fair, crossfit at a high level is pretty decent, just watch any crossfit competitions. its the basedboys and hipster who join in on the latest fitness fad that end up injuring themselves because the exercises require a lot of mobility
>high level is pretty decent
I’m not the biggest fan of CrossFit but this dude is such a loser for spending so much time talking about it. Is he even in shape or just an armchair type?
https://www.koreaboo.com/news/physical-100-finale-manipulated-woo-jin-yong-jung-hae-min-netflix-mbc-respond/
Nah he didn't win. the Cyclist won in reality.
>Per anonymous source
Oh so it's worthless
>people confused by inertia
>reveals that he entered to bring more attentiont to snowboarding as a sport
>will forever be known as the crossfitter
Best part was the women who challenged men getting completely btfo without effort. You just know the west would never make such a show for that reason alone
He said, watching a show on Netflix with English subtitles.
lmao this
is the kind of person to say "The Office would NEVER get made today." Meanwhile, IASIP just started filming their next season.
A crossfitter won, we lost bros
>good cardio
>not too heavy
>not too light
>strong core, legs, and arms
What won is a balanced physique. There's only a few guys who even had a chance besides the crossfitter. I reckon Ironman would have done much better in the final quest than anyone else if he wasn't mogged in rock pushing by the cyclist who doesn't train his arms kek
I'm watching episode 3 as we speak. It's so good. I was surprised about the burger basketball player eliminating the Army guy who won in his group's hanging challenge.
Shit's mad inspiring tho
I read that the hanging challenge took a toll on a few people's hands and arms. Including the army guy.
>Got a massive motivation boost to train much harder after watching this.
I did too until the end. The last dudes were all kind of skinny fat.
>He fell for the "aesthetics equals functionality" meme.
There's no point to being good at something if you can't look good while doing it.
On a more serious note I think they overvalued endurance in a lot of the challenges.
Vain fagginess. There's no point in being good at something if you can't do it for more then 5 minutes. Endurance and willpower is the cornerstone to every tale of strength. Humanity's greatest warriors could endure on the battlefield for months on end. Our civilization was built by construction and steel workers working 12 hour days. Endurance trumps all in the matter of what makes a man.
Jo Jin-hyeong's level of strength was incredible, and he won my respect and admiration when he led his team to move the ship in less then 10 minutes, but it was pretty hard to watch him gasp like an elderly asthmatic after 5 minutes of cardio.
>Endurance trumps all in the matter of what makes a man.
Retarded rooner nonsense. Don't get me wrong, endurance is important but it's not everything. You need to measure strength endurance speed and dexterity. The only challenge that involved dexterity was climbing across a four fucking feet wide bridge.
Pic related, but endurance.
I hate that how early they did 1 on 1 ones, for this reason alone grapplers and other combat athlethes were over represented moving forward
Yeah some of the challenges werent really fair, imagine having a superb well rounded physique going up against a wrestler in round 1
yeah some of those soldier types had real chance if they weren't btfo'd by a wrestler r1
also the skinny mmafag who picked the muscular milf was such a homosexual about it
>mmafag who picked the muscular milf was such a homosexual about it
but that was the best part
lol shut up homosexual
seeing that midget tranny getting btfo by a twink male was the highlight
That was the best part, that MMA guy was based I was rooting for him after he completely dismantled that roidtranny.
You guys missed the best part. She picked him
Agreed. I did like that they put the grip thing at the very beginning, filtering women and powerlifters.
>I did like that they put the grip thing at the very beginning, filtering women
Are women really that much worse at supporting their own weight vs. other shit? Obviously they suck at pullups but this feels different
The women did pretty decent at the hanging, the heavy strength guys got rekt the hardest.
I do feel like they couldve adjusted the weight of some events for the women lmao, it was fucking brutal for them, they had zero chance
do you think a bear in the wild is gonna "adjust his weight" so a woman has a fighting chance? lmao
Do you think any of these challenges realistically measure bear attack survival chances?
The point of this show was to find the most functional and best overall physique. So people getting BTFO'd by fighters and wrestlers is to be expected.
Powershitters, bodybuilders and influencers getting filtered out early was great to see (and I knew it would make you autists seethe kek). In the end it was almost all olympic athletes, functional strength and fighters.
>fighters
>most functional
>best overall
Lmao, no.
They got btfo by a crossfitter, should tell you everything.
I put crossfit under functional strength. I knew they would do well.
>crossfit
>functional strength
Imagina that. Strength endurance is the most functional part of fitness and sports. Fucking retard.
>So people getting BTFO'd by fighters and wrestlers is to be expected.
yes but doing it as the first game means some dudes are getting btfo'd just because they were picked by wrestler while some other less deserving dudes pass because they were able to outpower a gymnastwink
again nothing wrong with the challenge itself, I just would rather see it later in the game after contestants proved themselves in more general fitness areas
all the challenges with no set time limit that went until somebody failed were willpower kino
The trial of Sisyphus was incredible
10/10 fitness kino
I feel like I would have done the best at it, pushing heavy but not too heavy shit for hours is kind of my thing
>t.dung beetle
That whole last section was perfect thematics, and then the 5,4,3,2,1 game had a good concept too.
Honestly most impressive thing was the Trial of Atlas, 2.5 hours holding a 60kg boulder?
100kg you retard
The sisyphus ball was 100kg, the atlas stone was "more than 50kg" according to one of the competitors but they never said exactly how much it weighed.
>How do they all have such perfect hairlines though
They only selected attractive people to compete. It's Physical 100, why would you have imperfect specimens?
I hope the show gets more seasons in more countries
And then we get a world's best athletes season. That would be ultimate kino.
I would be hyped for african, latin and middle eastern seasons, just the most roided up subhumans fucking shit up
They would all be boring bc no one lifts in those countries.
The best seasons would be in Eastern and Western Europe and Americas.
Imagine getting a version of this with all the best atheletes in the world. That would really be an amazing sight.
Part of why this one was enjoyable was because everyone was so polite to eachother and respectful. If this took place in the us, there would be so much retarded drama and bickering and other dumb shit.
Not if you took the best athletes I'm sure, If you've ever watched a strongman competition, all the competitors are very polite to each other.
That’s because strongmen are 95% white. If you had an American shows there’d be naggers and other minorities and they would act like naggers and other minorities. Unreal how people refuse to see what’s right in front of their eyes
Kek, not the guy you're replying to but that really activated my almonds. For a split second I actually considered a civil American version of this show being possible until I read your post.
>mufugga bix nood
>kneeling before/after challenges
>Showboating after every win
Even the one black guy in this series ended up pushing his competitor before he lost.
He also chimped out extremely hard when he lost. All the other competitors just laughed nervously.
>not if you took the best athletes
And then this cunt appears.
Miracle is also not Nippert.
I realize now, but anon said basketball. Thought he was calling him a basketball american lol. Nippert plays baseball.
but nippert is not also a basketball player
Astroturfed asiaticshit again
dumb /misc/cel
>Wrestler vs Prison Guard
K I N O
South Koreans have more plastic surgery done than any other country on the planet so it wouldn't surprise me if some of those guys have had work done.
>muh netflix bugpeople show!!
anyone who watches this trash is low t and most likely homosexual
post body
Post girlfriend
This guy is so cool. I understand why everyone was excited when they saw him
this dude has godlike charisma wtf
He was easily the best leader.
>How do they all have such perfect hairlines though.
I've noticed that people who are fit and successful tend to also not be hairlets. This board is really an aberration of males with low quality genes struggling against their fate, usually they just stay in their lane. Meaning hairlets are underrepresented among fit normoids.
It's South Korea. They all got transplants and take fin.
Baldness affects like half of all men to some extent.
holy shit what a bunch of idiots
tfw no korean muscle mommy to step on me
am i going to make it bros?
That wrestling chick was really cute
Kawai.
>be middle of the road looking crossfitter
>get carried through the difficult stuff by a good team
>choose an event you win by having more cardio endurance than guys who habitually don't run
>win against climbers by being heavier
>win against tanks by being normal weight
>you now have the best physique in Korea
>a doughy, narrow framed guy who lifts
Waah.
Wanted to stop watching after the second episode, but kept going with my gf
Its just another 'reality' tv show except in korean. I'm 33, I had enough of this shit in my teens
Also, theres gotta be some issues with the english translation.
>How do they all have such perfect hairlines though. Do Korean men not have hairloss in their genetics or is it plastic surgery
Levels in asians aren't as high as euros but yeah, they still bald. If you didn't realize it, this was casted and theres scripted parts too, its not a representation of the korean population nor is it all just them acting naturally or a scientific study. Its an entertainment product
What was his fucking problem bros
Hard to say, born a homosexual? Bullied loner?
Typical 'content creator'. Good to see that those are still all homosexuals on the other side of the world
he was genuinely fucking funny though
>I have no regre..- OF COURSE I HAVE REGRETS
cracked me up big time
Idk about hairloss but Korea has the highest per Capita rate of plastic surgery of any country in the world.
could you beat him?
Apparently there was a controversy for the last challenge. They reshoot the rope pulling challenge three times and the cycler was ahead in the first two. No wonder he was burned out. Kinda crazy how they just edit that shit out.
I heard about this too, at the end haemins rope just seems to be completely fucking stuck
Not Natural 100
that's a wig if I've ever seen one
Oh yeah, I'm no pro at spotting this but there were two of them above all clearly roiding
Kim Kang Min you mean
kek, thats the one. I'm not used to korean names, and there was 100 of them there
Damn, thanks for the research, just look at the difference
>only two
yeah it was a lot more than that anon.
>Oh hello!
South Korea has such a large and pervasive plastic surgery industry that you can literally download an app, scan your face, and book your appointment in minutes for most kinds of procedures. No psychological assessment or doctor interviews, just pay the money and go under the knife tomorrow.
It's gotten to the point that it's almost considered mandatory to get some amount of plastic surgery done - not even to look beautiful, but to "correct" obvious flaws, due to how impactful it is considered to be on your ability to get a good job or participate in society. The Halo Effect is taken to the next level there, where you pretty much can't be considered successful if you're ugly.
Now you know why they have one of the highest suicide rates in the world despite having some of the best infrastructure around.
Do you think all of the participants have had some type of nip/tuck?
NTA but I had to wonder, it wouldn't shock me for a moment if the majority had
I love it how these people are gonna have a ugly baby lottery because no one knows what their original face looked like.
claiming my wife, Bo-mi-rae is mine
Kim Kang Min at the age of 23 with his wife at the same age.
His wife was hot on the show but she has that three octaves deeper than normal roid voice
Honestly it gave me a lot more respect for strongmen/powershitters. The fat car dealer guy mogged the fuck out of everyone else in the show.
Just spent $165.00 for VIP seats at the New York Pro. Can't wait to attend. I attended later years as well.
I love the show. Some things I’d like to know about, change or add are
>over how long did the show take place?
>can they please find a new editor or way to edit?
>I wouldn’t mind adding a Big Brother style to this. stuff like where the top 5 had dinner and you get to know the competitor’s why.
>I liked where the people not competing were watching the games too.
>are they going to have an all woman version of the show?
This was a fantastic show. Still more of a Singles Inferno guy myself, when it comes to SwoleShackspiration, but I fucking loved the show. Best match was when the zombie coordinator faced off against the Olympic athlete and almost grabbed him.
How do I get a sexy korean wrestler gf?
who /sung bin/ here
Asians do bald like 10-20% less than whites/ragheads. But I lived there and there were lots of guys still balding. They were cherry-picked for the show. But something fucked up is going on in the US because I can still remember boomers in their 40s and a full head of hair with little greying was the norm. Yet a good hairline for millennials in their 30s is basically an endangered species.
I LIFT FOR TOMBOY BOXER
All Korean reality shows are rigged anon.
I'm really tired of this shit being advertised here.
