ive learned this now. no matter how much i train my lifts will always be garbage. 4 years of consistent training and my lifts are barely above novice level. because I don't have the right genetics. So nothing i do matters. Its as simple as that and i cant believe it took me 4 years of wasting time to realize it.
Have you tried running?
Please don’t feed ogre titties
>have pectus
>still workout for massive fucking pecs
Are you even able to feel pride, anon?
why should someone who has never and will never achieve anything of note feel pride
>will never achieve anything of note
That's your fault for not putting in effort and caring what others think of you on top of that. Godspeed, anon
Fuck off demoralizers. I WILL lift as much as i can and i WILL reach my genetic potential, no matter how much you try to stop me!
What's your diet like?
high protein, whole foods, caloric surplus
Your full of shit. Everyone entertaining the notion that this person is telling the truth is getting baited. You a. Didn’t read and follow the sticky and are lifting, eating, sleeping wrong or the far more likely b. Completely lying to demoralize gullible people on here while you haven’t worked out once in 4 years
I worked out yesterday.
What do you define as "novice"?
strength standards
Oh damn, that ain't good.
It's not "all genetics", it's that you specifically are a genetic dead end. Either you're too stupid to figure out how to program your routine and to eat, or you really genetically can't just put on strength. Either way, please never breed.
I probably weigh more than you do. I have no problem eating or gaining weight.
>Either way, please never breed.
I won't be, don't worry.
Fella, why not just post routine?
5/3/1 BBB
before that greg nuckols 3 day bench and 1 day squat and deadlift
Alright, that's a picture. Finally, you've no doubt stalled on lifts plenty of times. Could you describe the general process? You know, how it goes when you fail a set, and what you do afterwards.
redo the cycle, or deload if i fail again
That's only half of what I had in mind. What goes through your mind when you fail a set?
i dont know what you mean by that
>that set was hard, i failed [again]
Do you fail at the bottom, half way, lockout
Are you out of breath, does your form break down
Do you miss reps across, or only on the last set is it the same every time
Help us so we can help you
You're right, that was vague. what I mean is more how you judge that another rep is, you know, it ain't gonna happen.
It's fashionable these days to shit on programs that have you lifting maximal weight for a low amount of sets, but there's a certain psychological advantage. You've been on programs that have you lifting either ramped sets, high volume sets, or both. However, this doesn't get you accustomed to being under the bar for weight that you're *really* not sure you're going to actually lift.
Honestly, man? Back to basics, totally normal novice-style linear progression, str8 up starting strength even, doesn't matter. Just for like a month. The point isn't necessarily for your lifts to go up, but for you to be consistently, for every set, under weight that you're really not sure you're going to lift for five, and doing a failed set anyways. This was personally very fruitful for me going up to 315 on the squat (which I assume you haven't reached). 5 pounds on the bar felt like 20 and I was lucky to get 3-2 per set, but next time I was under the bar it felt like normal working weight. The weight increment wasn't scary, because I'd been under it before and continued anyways.
Lol. Afraid of the truth. Its ok. You'll realize it too after spending 4-5 years making no progress because you picked the wrong parents at birth
bro if you're stuck at something for this long then you're doing it wrong. You may have genetics that slows you down but not this much. Please be a retard somewhere else
>Y-you're doing it wrong! You just are, okay!?
Post body with timestamp
You can have a strong, fit body, and be ugly or bald or short or gay or whatever the fuck your issue is or you can just be ugly/whatever.
>You can have a strong, fit body
thats where you are wrong
I know, you're a failure and will never have a good body but that's because you're a gay. You can have a strong fit body, but you won't.
>because I don't have the right genetics.
Unless you are a geneticist or have had extensive (and expensive) genetic testing done, this is nothing more than a cope.
I used to be a retard like (You) who claimed I just couldn't build muscle! Turns out it was always because I did not eat the right type of food and far too little protein. Stop making excuses for your failures.
I eat more than enough protein
Trust me, it's not the genes to do with muscle growth that make you a genetic dead end. It's the ones that made you a whiny gay
Demoralizing thread, shut the fuck up and lift.
Did nobody tell you? We inject our genetics now.
It’s more likely you’re just a retard and doing something wrong
Which is better: shit genetics + lifting, or shit genetics + no lifting.
Don't be such a retarded defeatist gay.
>there's no point in working out
have a nice day
