The thing I hate about lifting weights is the moment you stop putting a ton of effort into it you just shrink and your body doesn’t care how long you’ve been doing it, you could lift for 100 years with 100% effort and attendance and dedication, and then stop taking it seriously for a few months and you’ll start losing gains.
It’s basically a gigantic waste of time to take lifting seriously, so stop taking it so seriously, enjoy it and take it easy, stop treating it like it’s the be all end all of your life
t.chinky gnomish she-male
only for roidtrannies, i stopped lifting for like 5 years and i kept my gains. gained all my strength back after 1 month and my lifts are what they were back then.
Ive been lifting for 10+ years
I can go 2-3 weeks without lifting and see 0 loss in size or strength.
It opened my eyes that I didn't need to do PPL 6 days a week, I still do PPL, but just not autistically 6 days a week. I'll go whenever I feel like it, like PPLxxPPL or PPLXPXPxL, or PxPxLx or PPLXXXXPPL etc
The whole idea of needing to ram in PPLPPLxPPLPPLxPPLPPLx etc and if you dont that your gains will disappear is a retard
Takes about a month to lose cardio and about a few months to lose strength. My other point was that people who are strong will find it easy to get strong again even after quitting for 2 or more years.
man it feels like it takes a week to fuck up your cardio. its frustrating af to be slow and uncoordinated when you get waylaid by something as minor as a cold
This
I’ve literally just started going to the gym when I feel like it and have good energy to do so rather than forcing myself 6x a week like I used to. I look better than ever tbh
>The whole idea of needing to ram in PPLPPLxPPLPPLxPPLPPLx etc and if you dont that your gains will disappear is a retard
This notion was spred, as usual, by the retarded belief that the bodies of people using PEDs behave exactly as the ones of people who don't. It doesn't work like that. Skipping a workout once in a while is unlikely to make a significant difference in the long run, as long as you're training regularly most of the time.
Despite many people claiming the contrary, I'd argue that you actually have to be MORE autistic about training if you're on steroids than if you aren't. Those who claim otherwise and claim to be natural are probably doing so to cover up their lies about their use.
Lifting is a lifestyle. Just like eating and sleeping.
This attitude of yours means that you're NGMI.
Only at the highest levels. Plus lots of things like nucleus counts, metabolism, bone density, tendon strength, heart capacity, lung capacity are not easily lost. In fact, some athletic associations have considered lifetime bans on people who use performance enhancing drugs, since they can impact an athlete's abilities even years after they stopped taking them.
you get almost all of it back super quick
You can literally take periodic 3 week breaks from working out and make the same gains as an obsessive lifting autismo who never misses a workout.
dam bro I've been going 3x per week. this changes everything
>You can literally take periodic 3 week breaks from working out and make the same gains as an obsessive lifting autismo who never misses a workout.
Some bodybuilders were like this. Like Kevin Levrone famously used to take 6 months of the year completely off training and roids and still came top placed at the Mr Olympias, beating many other bodybuilders who trained all year non stop.
seems like the roids kind of change the equation...
Idk man you hear stories of old boxers that haven’t trained for 30/40 years beating up young bucks that try to break into their homes or they go to the boxing gym and school some newbies. I don’t think it really goes away at all
Yeah, the moment you stop roiding your body shrinks.
Took a break from lifting for a couple months, and hit the gym recently, my squats were wack, literally half of what I used to squat and I have DOMS for days, while my bench surprisingly maintained tho
The thing I hate about eyesight is the moment you stop keeping your eyes open you just go blind and your body doesn’t care how long you’ve been keeping your eyes open, you could keep your eyes open for 100 years with 100% effort and attendance and dedication, and then stop taking it seriously for a few seconds and you’ll start losing your eyesight.
It’s basically a gigantic waste of time to keep your eyes open seriously, so stop taking it so seriously, enjoy your eyesight and take it easy, stop treating it like it’s the be all end all of your life
Lol says you gay roidtroid, I can take a month off and come back even bigger and stronger
Infact, its a popular anecdote for some nattys where they can take a week off and they get bigger and stronger
Why? Because nattys muscle is THEIR muscle. Your roid chud muscles are dependant on your chud roids
the whole point was for Lu to drop weight for the new weight classes you retard
This only happens if you're roiding.
If you're natty, you won't lose strength and size that easily. In fact, the fact that people incorrectly applied this notion to natties generated tons of paranoia leading to people being overly strict with their schedule and missing on tons of social occasions for it.
