Stretch marks from working out

I'm not fat, but I'm a novice who's been working out for almost a year and noticed what looks like to be stretch marks on the back of my delts/triceps presumably from muscle growth? Is this just inevitable? I have a naturally small frame. I don't really care that much but I'd rather not have stretch marks than have them if I could choose between the two

They're proof of your hard work so don't worry about them. If you worry about every little blemish you'll be a retard for life that cringes whenever someone says something mean about your body.

      >bothered by life-long signs of serious effort.
I believe this speaks much about you. Just as this lad said, they are the proof of your work. You managed to do something so difficult and profound that your body itself couldn't keep up. Be proud of it my friend.
If you refuse to change however, I believe simple stuff like drinking more water and maybe some ointments (i literally dont know any though) might help.

These are mostly caused if you are bulking quickly from a low weight, unless you are on roids, which I doubt. Not a bad thing though, wear em with pride. (if you start getting them on your belly then its time to cut though.

your muscles don't grow when you're inside the gym retar, they do at home. in your case it's because of accumulated fatigue. I had a few weeks off (~3), where I just ate like a landwhale ect, after an intense half year powerlifting routine and manual labouring. I was stronger when I went back to the gym afterwards

Better yet how the fuck do some dudes just have zero of them, specifically on their arms and chest, and are big as all hell. Is it really all just genetics?

Yes it's genetics. I got them at 13 when I grew like half a foot in a few months.

Used bio oil while I was pregnant and didn't develop any stretch marks, helped fade old stretch marks I had on thighs from teenage growth spurt. There's generic versions which are cheaper and work just as good. Would put it on before bed.

It's fairly common even if you're not fat. A lot of times it can be hormonal, like a lot of guys start getting them at puberty. I was always a skelly as a teenager but it didn't stop me from getting them on the middle of my back, my thighs, and shoulders. Luckily it stops after a certain point (I got massive with muscle in my 20s with no further stretch marks) and they get much less noticeable with age. Once they fade, someone really has to be like 1 foot away from you playing with your skin to notice them

Get some moisturizer with hyaluronic or salicylic acid if you want to get rid of them OP
Otherwise, get a tan. Either way you're working hard

There is no treatment--- topical, over the counter, or surgical--- that will get rid of them. They are in the deepest layer of your skin and are effectively scar tissue. So don't hold out for false hope... as I said in an earlier post, they fade with time and become a lot less noticeable

Sure anon, but both topical cream and laser skin treatment are all pretty effective solutions.

Stretch marks occur with rapid growth in body volume where the skin struggles to catch up. its proof youre making massive gains. if it worries you, there are recipes onlone to reduce the redness, but i see them as marks of pride. wear them.

Got them on my arms when I bulked at 16. Never had them happen at older age, but I take Vitamin C, Zinc and most other vitamins now. You likely have a collagen gene defect, my family does.
