then squatting lasts 10 minutes and i finally have fun for a very short amount of time
what exercise can i add thats as fun as squatting?

my only complaint is i literally spend 3 hours in the gym when doing weightlifting programs. mainly because i do bodybuilding right after the weightlifting session.

I train on a club team and all of the national level folks spend about 2-3 hours 5-6 days/week where 30-60 minutes of that is bodybuilding/other accessories
You can split up the sessions if you're time crunched. I don't really have the energy most of the time to do accessories after a full session.

wait until you stall and it'll stop being quite as fun. the funnest lifts are the ones you're feeling strong on and progressing. nothing like looking forward to the gym next session feeling like you're going to pr. so it rotates, give it time.
