Redpill me on the Oats meme

What exactly about it makes it so useful for gainz?
I just eat beef, greens and protein shakes and lift and do cardio and gain muscle just fine.
I'm thinking of adding oats to my diet but what exactly should I utilize them for?
Long distance running?
Sprints?
Low rep high weight lifts?
Not really a grains/carbs fan honestly

      >cheap clean calories
      just eat rice?
just have an endomorphic bodytype that doesn't need to CONSOOOM six million carbs just to workout?
I only need to eat beef, veggies, eggs and whey.
Are there some nutrients or protein that makes them viable?

I actually find Oats to be more useful on a cut. In the spring when it's warm enough to ride my bicycle, I ride first thing and then come home to eat some oats. That keeps me full the rest of the day. Hit the gym in the afternoon and then eat a big meal with protein afterwards.
So I guess the fact that they keep you full for not too many calories is the value for me.

I'm bulky now but if I cut I feel like I would be able to just survive off scranning a ton of eggs.
Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like my metabolism is already naturally slow.

nothing. Its just carbs and protein.
    >I'm thinking of adding oats to my diet but what exactly should I utilize them for?
There is nothing to "utilize" them for. They are just one among many food items that gives you carb and some protein just like bread, pasta and rice.

There is nothing magical about oats dude. Foods dont have these magical properties, its just carbs, protein or fat

Don't you get enough carbs from a sausage, cheese and veggie omelette?

Oats is used on fat people so their digestive system gets clogged with fiber and they stop craving food, empty calories mostly carbs with shit quality protein

              Makes sense

I don't get it either. No matter how much I eat I'll just remain hungry and it doesn't seem like there's that much protein in it. I just stick to my eggs and bread for breakfast.

Literally nothing. It's a retarded meme just like kettlebells or starting strength in general.

    > tastes like shit, inedible
    > almost no protein and all of it is shit quality

Grains are super efficient ways to gain body fat because carbs in general are fattening and grains are a cheap source of carbs.

Grains don't help you gain muscle because muscle is built with protein.
