Only the strong survive.
You don't say
someone post the greentext of the guy who was stapled under the bench and stuck there all night
>he bought a subscription to snap fitness
>Dangers of lifting alone
Am I supposed to be spotted on a OHP? How? This looks like a crossfager
Yeah, you should have someone standing slightly higher than you are ready to dive at the bar and push it back and away from you if you get shaky or slip
Snap is just a standard 24/7 gym.
Let me guess.
He tried to push press 400 lbs while weighing 100 lbs?
How do you get injured doing OHP? of you can't get the weight up just return to the starting position.
You pass out from the weight being too heavy. Happened to me once
You're not breathing, bracing, or bailing right. That's not something that happens to people who pay attention.
Nobody cares smartass. The dude you replied to statement still remains, the weight was heavier than he could handle
You'd have to be retarded to do this lmao. OHP is one of the safest workouts
>'His injury happened while [he was] doing a seated overhead press in a Smith machine,' the man wrote online.
Came here to post this. Is there any reason to use this death trap?
yes. Big Z, 4x World's Strongest Man and former world record holder in several overhead press variations recommends it.
Theres certainly no reason for a smith machine to exist without safetys. It's just a set of slider-stoppers with hooks on the guide rail
The only reasonable exercise to be done on a smith machine is calf raises if your gym doesn't have the calf raise standing machine. Nothing else.
Oh fuck. Guillotine moment
Never attempted my 1 rep max, never broke a bone.
but how are you going to brag about your PR with 1 inch range of motion?
Height, hair, and intelligence is inherited from the mother. These 2 have kids and she gives birth to a 98IQ manlet son who balds at 18. 80% chance
not even once
Why? Just why?
Big Z, 4x World's Strongest Man and former world record holder in several overhead press variations recommends it.
>Paramedics took 45 minutes to get there.
Tending to too many jabbie patients to get there in a timely manner. The line to the hospital is getting long in the Outback. Rama Rama.
Lol always use safeties with giljotin. I once forgot them and my feet slept from stepper while doing standing calves and got almost executed
>guy was hurt but seemed ok
>call an ambulance anyway
>guy gets worse after 10 minutes
>ambulance arrives 40 minutes after getting called out
The joke writes itself.
Ego lifters btfo once again
Damn just use a rack.
