Why are you doing 3 sets of the same weight.
i.e. for bench hit a warm up set, then 72.5 for 3, then 75 for 1, then 65 for 6 or 60 for 10-12. Better training and you'll increase your max weight by pushing volume on lower weights
Yeah I think I might start doing something like this. I’ve only recently started doing more sets with lower weight of barbell OHP in hopes of increasing the weight too, plus I’ll do dumbbell OHP but by the time I’ve got to it I’m pretty tired anyways
He's doing three sets of the same weight because that's part of SS. For beginners it works fine, after 3 months of SS you can move on and start working on your physique, as your form for compound lifts should be good and can handle decent weight.
Seems like all of your lifts are rather low. SS should get you deadlifting 3 plates easily, and your squat could raise a lot too. You should still be able to increase by 5lbs a workout on those.
Your Bench and OHP are iffy. If you aren't finding progress then you need to start microloading, your lifts are still within normal LP. If you're still facing issue, try to make sure you're eating around 2500 calories
How could anyone possibly think the dude in the pic can only bench 132 pounds. The dude in the pic on the right is a finished product. That's what you'd get from years of lifting.
