My gf has started to get a lot of anxiety about me benching alone in our home gym. I've failed reps before and I never use clips so I either roll of shame or dump the weight. I use the safety bars in the rack too but they obviously have to be below my chest
I have never had any reason to doubt my ability to bench safely but her anxiety has gotten in my head. Since then I've constantly been failing reps I know I can handle. I keep imagining final destination esque ways I could murder myself benching and it's fucking with me
Is there any truly foolproof way to bench safely alone?
