Very nutritious if you manage to brake chitin cell walls.

Even if you are too much of a pussy to forage wild mushrooms the oyster mushrooms are pretty flat and are sold in almost every supermarket.

              >yes i am scared i would identify it wrong
start with simple stuff like porcini and chantarelles. They're both delicious and you can't mistake them for anything.

These fellas are delicious and impossible to misidentify, just check if they don't change colour if you cut them.

                not changing color is bad?

Not changing colour is good. There is non-edible mushroom that looks similar but it turns red if you cut/break it.

Shrooms had a same kind of affect on me, my life improved a lot after heavily experimeting with them, I quit a lot of my old shitty habbits that lead nowhere but a cycle of depression.

      lmao what a dumb bitch
obviously the shrooms showed her husband he was wasting his life not really living and so he went out and seized the day, good for him
She says his "warm heart" is still the same and that's ostensibly what she fell in love with him for, so literally what the fuck is her problem?

Does shroom really do this to people? How? Can it do the reverse and change a good person to a bad person? Are there any downsides?

A high dose in a good setting is a life changing experience for most people. Obviously there are risks as people have gone absolutely crazy from them, just look at Connor Murphy.

Huh? So its not like a concious decision to change yourself but is like a split personality? So in the story above, its not the guy who is conciously changing his life but he is controlled by shroom?

            >he is controlled by shroom?
            No, he IS the shroom.

You see yourself how you really are without ego without cope and experience the full range of emotions, all at once in a few seconds that feel like forever, that's why it's so painful but also could be beautiful, my life changed for good for the better in many durable ways, never had to do them again, if you use them more that twice a year you didn't get the point of mushrooms, so it's the real you if anything, without trauma, without cope.

Here is a pretty good analogy from Michael Pollan's book

              >"Think of the brain as a hill covered in snow, and thoughts as sleds gliding down that hill. As one sled after another goes down the hill a small number of main trails will appear in the snow. And every time a new sled goes down, it will be drawn into preexisting trails, almost like a magnet. In time it becomes more and more difficult to glide down the hill on any other path or in a different direction. Think of psychedelics as temporarily flattening the snow. The deeply worn trails disappear, and suddenly the sled can go in other directions, exploring new landscapes and, literally, creating new pathways."

It's pretty spot on, I think psychedelics reveal your fucked up and harmful thought patterns you weren't even aware of.

Thanks. Pretty interesting. So how come some people go nuts like connor murphy?

Imagine you've been a narcissistic piece of work all your life, believed and cared about things that did not really matter so much that you were willing to sacrifice your whole life for them, never really looking inside and never really living because your mind has always been somewhere else all the time, following the next goal, obsessed by more and better makes nothing ever good enough
And then, all of this coming to your mind all at once? No wonder their mind breaks.

if you are talking about the psychedelic shrooms, this is a really dumb conclusion. its a drug dude, drugs will do shit to your brain

They can be good, bad or nothing, it's just a tool to open up the valves in your brain, what you do with that power is almost entirely up to you, they changed my life and I regard psychedelics as one of the best things I've ever done

It's metaphorical for the parts of your brain, the drug is only 50% of the equation, most of the shit you see and feel is created by your brain, once you take off the limiters you just see what it is capable of.

Cordyceps militaris might be the next creatine hype supplement.

    >In one study, researchers tested their effects on exercise capacity in 30 healthy older adults using a stationary bike. Participants received either 3 grams per day of a synthetic strain of Cordyceps called CS-4 or a placebo pill for six weeks. By the end of the study, VO2 max had increased by 7% in participants who had taken CS-4, while participants given the placebo pill showed no change (3).

VO2 max is a measurement used to determine fitness level

    >In a similar study, 20 healthy older adults received either 1 gram of CS-4 or a placebo pill for 12 weeks

While researchers found no change in VO2 max in either group, participants given CS-4 improved other measures of exercise performance.

One study also tested the effects of a Cordyceps-containing mushroom blend on exercise performance in younger adults (6Trusted Source).

After three weeks, participants’ VO2 max had increased by 11%, compared to a placebo.

However, the current research suggests Cordyceps are not effective at improving exercise performance in trained athletes (7Trusted Source, 8).

ive never seen anyone or heard of anyone who took psychedelics and genuinely 180'd his life, personality and ways of thinking, if it truly worked then israelites would have been taking advantage of that somehow. instead the neuroscientists and psychiatrists who shill this shit as an alternative or superior to their SSRI's are almost always shilling their own meme shroom therapy centers, filled with customers who aren't any way different from the usual therapybrains.
the vague way everybody describes this with gaping sóy mouth and jazzhands is just that it makes normies and npc's question consciousness for the first time in their life, after which they think they are enlightened and that their 3rd joe rogan eye opened and now they can go to the gym regularly or be nicer to their girlfriend or something.
