They are super delicious. Especially when they get a crispy outside. A bit of shredded cheese on the waffle iron before adding the egg/cheese mix helps it get a nice crunchy outside.
They are perfect for breakfast sandwiches and burgers.
The waffle iron is important to get the texture right. Belgian waffles are too thick. Normal waffle makers are ideal. Dash Mini has a really good size and shape for sandwiches but it's a cheap shitty chinese brand. I wish there was a premium equivalent.
A burger is ground meat, cheese, veggies and bread. None of those are inherently unhealthy, especially when it can be made from the comfort of your own home. They can be unhealthy depending on how they're cooked and where they're sourced.
Just get some 97/3 beef (or hell, 80/20 is fine too and tastes better). I like to mix in lots of black pepper, some onion powder, garlic powder, a little Himalayan salt. Fry up however much you want. No need to add any oil; or will fry in its own fat.
Toast some whole wheat bread. Hamburger buns are for fags. Add some cheese if you want (actual cheese, not Velveeta goyslop). I find shredded works better here. I like low- or no-sugar ketchup, mustard, and dill relish with a little shredded cheese.
It's not necessarily low calorie but definitely healthy.
All the gains I made were on 1.5hr workouts and like 4-6 hours sleep. You can sleep and 'recover' all you like, but if you ain't putting in the work, you're not gonna get gains.
Your diet should be mostly carbohydrates.
Nah I'm not gonna do that
post body
you give up unlimited calories for mere grains?
>unlimited calories
No such thing.
>did you know you can make your own HEALTHY burgers
Yeah just get rid of the carbs.
What are the waffles made out of if low carb? I’m guessing some kind of veggie hash?
Chaffles. The basic recipe is just mozarella and egg. There's a ton of variations on the recipe but they're all low-carb.
I like the mozarella and egg simple chaffle because it's also carnivore.
that sounds delicious

Can burgers really be healthy? As far as I know, the healthiest diets are the DASH and Mediterranean, and these don't include burgers.

Depends where you're from
For americlaps it invariably involves mayo/bacon/imitation cheese etc. - carcinogenic/atherogenic filler
Redpill me on the healthy burgers
