Making a Change

I got a 10lb dumbell, 14 sq. ft. of tile floor, a yoga mat, and a nightcore playlist.

How can I use these tools to drop 300 pounds before I'm 30? (6 years from now)
(I'm not a teen but I have to use an image to post.

If you're unironically being this obtuse google "calisthenics"

Even if you workout 8 hours a day you still wont burn enough calories. Most of the work to lose that weight should be from dieting. Look for the /fat/ general for more info, but you'll likely be doing fasting in some form or another.

OP can't do calisthenics. If he needs to lose 300 pounds how much do you think he must weigh?

I haven't been weighed since highschool but I'm guessing I'm over 400 and less than 500 since I'm still mobile.

You have more than enough tools at your disposal. Remember that a shoddy workman blames his tools.
A lot of moving will get you where you want to go but if you’re really that fat you’ll struggle just building up to the strength you need for a lot of things. How active are you friend? What can you do, what have you done?

I think I'm strong, like, I've never encountered a physical obstacle I can't manhandle. Beds, televisions, large dressers, full grown drunk ass men who need to be carried inside.

So my base strength, I guess, is high because I'm a man carrying around X00 extra pounds in my daily life, but my endurance is pretty shot to hell.
I can do whatever I need to do physically, bend, get up if I trip, lift shit, jog, jump, balance etc. but it's pretty draining as the day drags on.

Yeah, maybe 13. Started my kid at 14 to be safe. 12 would be great, but do your homework.

I used to have an amazon job, I was 350+ at the time at least. 11 hours on my feet, bending, reaching, packing, twisting with loads of less than 20lbs at a time non-stop throughout the day.

I lasted for about 3 months with that before developing plantar fasciitis in my left foot. Got fired for taking time off to try and figure out what the fuck was wrong with my foot.

A few years pass and a long stay home (pretty much since covid started) and now I'm a big fatty who can feel his youth leaving him. My body aches, I can't get comfortable, I can't sleep unless I exhaust myself.

Time to make a change yea?

as for how active I am, not very, I'm a shut in and while I used to go on a mile walk a day, since covid I've stayed home and the extent of my activity is using the bathroom, changing how I lay on the couch, moving to the living room, and baking for six-seven hours once a week (my source of income)
