I think its an easy to language, worthy of being lingua franca
I adopted a pro SwoleShacknler lingo there but you aren't gonna find folk using these phrases in real life anymore
a lot of modern bakeries sell protein breads now, dont exactly know whats in 'em but they are 100gr-250kcal-25gr protein, which is pretty cool
Tbh the protein in wheat is gluten, which is not a complete protein so it doesn't fully contribute to daily protein intake, but I think it counts if you only have a little.

the protein is gluten, which is pretty much useless for your body
I didn't know this, I searched online but couldn't find something that explains the process well. Let's say I eat two slices of bread and they have 7 grams of protein, how much will I actually absorb?
Do you guys bake your own bread or buy a specific brand? I usually make bannock or brown bread every week or so, tempted to try making a dark rye or caraway soon but I'm kinda lazy.
I buy the 5 ingredient bread from Aldi, there's an Italian and a Sourdough usually. I get the Italian. Usually just do a piece of toasted bread every morning, occasionally a sandwich or a piece with Irish butter.
I hate the English so goddamned much you don't understand.

Instead of beans, use cretons and a thin layer of dijon mustard.

I wouldnt say I LOVE bread, more of a rice guy, but sometimes a warm fresh loaf is just heaven
>a 20g slice has 2g protein and 50 calories
It's... not even that bad.
Bread isn't bad, some breads have protein of up to 15gr per 100gr and their calorie count is decent. I still prefer baked pasta and low fat cheese
