On any weight loss program or methodology you WILL lose some muscle mass. You need to accept this. You can maintain your strength by training and dieting properly. Cut the goyslop, try fasting, or shut the fuck up
Don't try to rush the process too much. If you want to maintain/gain muscle mass while cutting down, aim to lose 0.5%-1% of your body weight per week.

Combine that with whatever you burn working out and the fat will melt off.

Just don't have a nice day working out. Maintain. Run/Walk/Row/Bike for 30 minutes.
Try doing like as many pushups / situps / squats / lunges / jumping jacks / etc. as well.

Make sure you are getting enough protein (.7-1g per lbs of body weight)
I walk 25 miles/day with a 80 lbs pack for 1-2 months in summer/autumn. Usually I loose 20-30lbs while still eating close to 3000 kcal.
