It's ok. People only post their numbers if they exceed the norm. Its harder for a sedentary shut in to reach 3pl8 squat than for people who played sports to. And hey, at least you got dubs
Truth. I didn't step into a gym til I was 23 and was a shut in NEET before hand. My progress was slow, I was inflexible and stiff, and couldn't use my body properly. Today I can do 2/3/4/5, which for how pathetic I was before is insane to think about.. Just keep moving.
Literally how? I’ve been training my brother who’s never lifted before for 6 months, and he’s already squatting 245, benching 175, and deadlifting 3 plates. Gonna get him a nice lifting belt for Christmas and watch his numbers skyrocket
Chances are you aren’t pushing yourself hard enough.
bro,
i always say everyone should lift
but people like you shouldn't. not because of anything physical, but because you're just fucking dumb, mentally weak, and pathethic
transition
sounds like you are spinning your wheels doing some workout that doesn't work for you. try something else. different rep schemes, different weekly volumes etc etc.
Is it more than what you did last month? And less than what you'll lift next month?
Then you're doing great, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
It's not a competition, you only have to beat your past self.
if you're skinny, eat more. if you're fat, keep grinding. sleep is crucial, sleep more. dont let anything interfier with sleeping. i sometimes don't go to work because i need to sleep i dont give a fuck if i get fired
I lifted for a year and saw shit progress
then went to college and took liting seriously - did an augmented SS, augmented as to not look like shit at the end of it. saw big gains, biggest lessons were >consistent program - no "fucking around" >trying to progress every session - one of the best ideas I got out of rippedtoe >eating a lot - 3 meals minimum(this was HUGE for my energy/health/physique), eat clean tho squats+oats=big gains >autistic focus on technique - if you injure yourself its a really really big deal
If your actually consistent and using 2.5lb or 5lb plates to increase weight in incriminates you just need to eat high calorie shit. Pasta with meat sauce is easy mode and will give you bunch of calories protein and energy

No, even those people can reach 1/2/3/4 easily in their first year just by training seriously.
thats not bad. youre comparing yourself to people that more serious about lifting than you.

Shut up manlet
Post body or shut up and work harder
>buy a belt and watch numbers skyrocket
Yeah that is not really how that works but I will let you keep being retarded
good shit. Keep it up!
train legs and back a lot (increases t)

Kys nagger
Go back
I spent 2 years tiring myself out on reddit PPL like a retard.
Barely made any progress
Estimated 1 rep max
Squat 198
Bench 154
Deadlift 275
Press 104.5
Figured it was a recovery issue and recently switched to 5/3/1 FSL (+ a ton of accessories)
it took me two years before I could bench more than 1pl8, good job.
I’m 190 at 6ft it took me 2 months to bench my body weight
Some people are meant for speed or endurance, not strength and size. You'd make a great sprinter, long distance hiker, swimmer, or kickboxer.
everyone is meant to be strong
weakness is an abnormal condition
1 2 3 4 is not a big deal, except for modern mental midgets
That feel when I could beat you unconcious or snap your arms and legs despite being 40 lbs lighter than you.
>progress stalls
>change nothing
Did you idk gain weight
Add to your higher (3, 5, 10) rep maxes
Change your split
Follow an actual program
Sounding secure today goober
I'm not the one who needs randos on the internet to mindlessly obey me.
i could cut you in half with my katana, homosexual
bait used to be believable
Somewhat bigger numbers but same squidward feeling here. At least im hairmaxxed. Trying to get into boring shit like cardio.
How much do u weigh and are u gaining weight?
kg, right?
135kg bench in a year would be extremely impressive and massively disproportionate.
depends on starting position
for example, for this guy, your results would be almost impossible to achieve
Keep at it, keep improving your training. Check out Alan Thrall.

kilos or pounds?

Is JIDF and its paid demoralization posters occupied with other psyops?

if that's in kilograms it corresponds with my numbers after a year
>Benching 135 after a year
Yawn, kys
eat more. I went from benching the bar to benching a plate in 3 months
My excuse is that I only visited a gym on a weekend and did calisthenics during the weekstart.
are those in lbs or kgs
if lbs then
>kek
kg obviously
