Even doing basic weightlifting will help tone your body by improving your muscle mass and reducing your fat mass. Just look at most women who lift
You should do at least some strength training to help you keep a good posture and prevent injuries.
I think bodyweight is where OP needs to start. In time he'll find out that without some strength training, he'll hit a wall in terms of overall progress.
Plus there's the general benefit of a higher resting metabolism.
Yes, I run 70km per week, if it's your first time running take care of your stomach, my first 2 weeks I was shitting 3 times per day and I had abs soreness too.
>take care of your stomach
What do you mean, did it just cause an upset stomach? Only problem so far is burning at the back of my throat from breathing hard.
I think It's called "runner's diarrhea", even if you don't have diarrhea you will shit a lot more than you used to, but if you eat 2 hours before running and drinking small water sips you shouldn't experience it as bad as I did.
He's right, I do cardio not because it improves my health but because it makes you mentally tougher, the best feeling is when you can barely breath, don't even feel your legs and you're about to blackout, but then you keep running.
It took me 6 months to start somewhat "enjoying" running. At first I couldnt run 50 meters without gassing out and my knees would hurt. At the end of 6 months I could run 10km+ in under an hour. I immediately got injured and got the coof right after that milestone though. I'm currently trying to regain that milestone
Any tips for waking up 5:15am to go jog before work?
Sleep early, keep an alarm and if you end up waking late then go for a jog regardless of the time, sooner or later you will feel bad for waking up late and want to wake up early anyway
Everyone who trains a combat sport knows this. Without cardio you can't punch, kick or wrestle for shit. This is blatantly obvious to anyone who has ever sparred. It really shows how clueless these internet though guys are.
Wrong screenshot. As that other one indicates though coming out too hot and then failing to maintain consistency in the last part of a workout is a pattern for me.

Sometimes when I run and become extremely tired I see women (sometimes men) running with their hands positioned like how gay and fatties run (pic rel) and I become immediately determined to not let them pass me and continue running
Basically needed crutches to walk on my ankle for a few days following a 25km run 2 weeks ago. Struggling with what I believe is tendonitis after rolling my ankle 6 months ago. Tried a 3km run yesterday and failed miserably, back to limping. I should put a line through running for a couple of months right? Maybe I'll take up swimming so I don't lose all progress.
I do 10 km runs on the treadmill at the gym every other day (except for Sunday as a rest day, so it might be two days in between sometimes). I try to fit in some lifting in between those days, but I don't do it as often as cardio since my upper body stays sore for two days instead of one after my lifting sessions.
In other words, yes. Based pic btw. Just started watching the original yesterday and I'm on EP10 so far. It's an amazing show. My goal (however unobtainable for obvious reasons) is picrel
I'm doing c25k right now to get myself back to a point where I can run 5ks consistently. I've always been pretty consistent with weightlifting but never with cardio unfortunately.
You should read the VN but the anime definitely isn't the worst as far as anime adaptations go. Never watch sotsugou, it's terrible.
Why do people dislike the new ones?
I went into them expecting nothing, but ended up quite happy.
Sure, they are not amazing like Kai, but I would say they are at least 8/10.
I like the personality changes a lot.
Also, I read the whole VN for Umineko and Higurashi, so I had lots of material to compare with.
I'm the guy going through the original right now. I saw the first two episodes of GOU before starting to watch the original. I like the original a bit better right now because it does actual world building and exposition in the first few episodes. The new one doesn't tell you jack about the village or the characters in the first two episodes. It just expects you to know who they are already
Ah I would say, look at it after you finish watching the original one and the kai.
I would say they approach the mystery in a different way.
Don't watch them before watching the original
Running is for fags
Maybe but I'm a skinny guy so running makes more sense than lifting.
how does that even make sense
Easier to run at this weight, and I don't plan on gaining any weight so lifting would hardly result in any gains. 6 feet 135 pounds.

Ran a 5k yesterday 31:40… Pretty good as my first 5k last weekend was 33:30. Im hoping to run below 30min next weekend.
Are you training to run away when real mean show up to fuck your woman?

Serious question you little gay you wouldn't speak to another man like that irl at your stature
Post body

And I couldn't just get a random picture? Are you retarded?

Squat 100 15x 5
30kg dumbbell press 12 x 4

You fell for the meme, I grew up sedentary with knee pain since I started going to the gym and running I stopped having knee pain.

I work midday-10pm so i go for a nice stroll around the neighbourhood at midnight 🙂
Running fags are the most obnoxious retards out here, bravo you are doing something every military guy wakes up to do 15 minutes of in the morning.
Why are you angry at people which take care of themselves?
Cooking fags are the most obnoxious retards on IST, bravo you are doing something line cooks do for 7 hours every day.
Yeah you're right. But you'd probably die from one punch. I box and skip hiit for 30-1 hour
I don't box but I do this and sometimes chase alone women at night.
>does cardio
>demoralizes other people who do cardio
post nose
Cardio is great. only running when you're 60kg is for soi maxing gays, hence training to run away when I come to fuck your woman
>when I do cardio good
>when other people do cardio bad
fuck of crab, I said post nose
No one cares what you said irl and especially not on the internet
I think it's obvious what you are by now
>inb4 moron

Ali was 6"3 100kg+ and could probably still out run this gay

Running? No.
Rowing? Yes.
Yesterday I got a 5k PR by a second. I really nosedived at the end but managed to keep the pace I needed the last 500m to still get it.
Wrong screenshot. As that other one indicates though coming out too hot and then failing to maintain consistency in the last part of a workout is a pattern for me.
Keep it up man, you doing great.
Thanks, friend.
Sometimes when I run and become extremely tired I see women (sometimes men) running with their hands positioned like how gay and fatties run (pic rel) and I become immediately determined to not let them pass me and continue running
I run like that specifically to motivate other people

Yes, cross train to prevent going back to square one when you can run again

I've heard the new ones are bad. Yee. I'm going to finish the original (episode 12 now) and then move on to Kai

Wrong.
How well do running gains translate into biking and vice versa?
Damn, Nike Pegasus is where its at.
