No the fact is that throughout elementary school and middle school and high school and even as a young adult you had it easy. You just happened to be better at sports because you were physically larger than the other kids. People had the assumption that you were more mature because of your height. You have never had to work particularly hard for social acceptance and success.
But eventually you get to an age where people actually expect you to be competent at things not just tall. You are expected to actually put effort into things which is not something you're used to. People stop congratulating you on your height and praising you for being tall like when you were a child. And why you when you try and intimidate someone smaller than you they don't really respond to it because what are you going to do? If you hit them you're not going to be able to talk your way out of trouble like you did in school.
I've noticed that people who never shut up about their height and how it makes them superior, but at the same time complain about drawbacks that are more likely caused by a lack of effort, I never the people who are proportionally large. It's always the skinny told people who look like you grabbed a 12-year-old and stretched them until they were 6'2.
It's possible, you just need a lot more muscle.
A short guy can look muscular just after getting their beginner gains done.
A tall guy could build the same number of lbs of muscle in the same time but it won't make a big difference visually. So the tall guy would have to lift for a couple of years more and build a lot more muscle to look at strong as the short guym
This is why I do calisthenics instead. The extra height adds difficulty, and I don't need the extra mass to intimidate. Plus it's more useful for my fitness goal of surviving societal collapse and becoming a neo feudal overlord
