The problem isn't the diet or concept it's what fat people do with it that makes it mean like omad. It becomes just another excuse to binge eat. Maybe they start it out healthy with enough vegetables then they stop losing weight because they're still overeating then drop the vegetables because they think they're not in keto anymore and have to go lower on the carbs. For weightlifters and people with otherwise disciplined diet practices it's a powerful cutting tool and easily implemented.
why does everyone on keto use sugar substitutes and simulate carby foods like pizza using cauliflower or chicken crust?
why do you need to supplement with 1000s of mgs of electrolytes if it is natural and healthy?
why do athletes and bodybuilders not use keto?
try it, see how mentally retarded and physically weak you feel and all your motivation slip away, then eat a sweet potato or a bowl of rice and you will immediately understand
>why does everyone on keto use sugar substitutes and simulate carby foods like pizza using cauliflower or chicken crust?
Maybe in the beginning to get off the sugar cravings. After a month or two, you will forget that sugar exists.
>why do you need to supplement with 1000s of mgs of electrolytes if it is natural and healthy?
You don't
>why do athletes and bodybuilders not use keto?
Because they need carbohydrates to have more explosive muscle contraction. If you are trying to add muscle, keto isn't good. For maintaining and cutting, keto is good. Or if you are just a dyel, keto is good.

Keto isn't no carbs. It's like under 50g a day or some such shit.
> If you are trying to add muscle, keto isn't good
keto is fucking horrible if you work out.
I did it for a while and when workouts got harder I ended up depressed every workout or rest day, 0 energy even on surplus calories.
20-30g of carb a day keto is meant for sedentary people with lower protein demands.
For people who lift weights you have to do at least 60-80g per day otherwise your protein requirements to just maintain muscle shoot up closer to 1.5g/lb. Then you add cardio as pretty much straight carbs. Otherwise yeah burn out, muscle loss, basically run into a wall that feels like overtraining constantly.

"celebrity gossip and memes often originate on the site"
2.
an element of a culture or system of behaviour passed from one individual to another by imitation or other non-genetic means.
ketosis is literally your body going into survival mode. when it runs out of fuel (glucose) it switches to ketones instead. purposely keeping your body in constant survival mode is retarded, you're under constant stress the entire time. it is quite obvious the body prefers to run on glucose. even if you're eating low carb, but not high enough fat, it would still prefer to convert amino acids into glucose (gluconeogenesis)
Ketogenic or not, lowering the amount of carbs you ingest is always a good thing, except if you're a professional athlete and care more about your 1% performance boost than you care about your health.
everything is a meme if you meme it hard enough
>somebody stopped me

I was eating 1kg of meat + some dairy every day.
even my sex drive improved 2x after adding some carbs.

No. It works wonders. But long-term sustainability is questionable, but not physically impossible.
