Pressing a weight is a lot different than lifting a person weighing that much over your head
imagine making a thread about something you've never tried
How do so many people have this bench to squat ratio? Is it lies? Bouncing the bar off their chest? I'm legitimately going to have a 4pl8 squat before I bench 225
I hit the bench first, then the OHP without doing the lift, then the DL and lastly the squat. Do more bodybuilding type of work but in relevant/close lifts if you want a bigger bench at this point assuming you got setup and technique figured out.
don't don't don't don't don't don't don't don't. I fell for this trap way of thinking, don't let it happen to you. >Be younger me >Can only OHP 115 at the time >Retarded monkey autism logic kicks in >"A man should be able to overhead press his woman. Ergo the more I OHP, the larger pool of women I can choose from." >Yes this totally makes sense to me >Grind and work my ass off to finally OHP 225 >While resting have an epiphany >"225 was hard. Why would I want to OHP a 225 pound woman?"
I'm fucking retarded. But it did get me to a 225 OHP.
>be me >6'1 >205lbs >Just started lifting again two months ago after two years off >255x3 bench >155x10 OHP >Lol squats >Lol deadlifts >Took gf's virginity >She's 5'1 and 95lbs >Is a homemaker who makes me delicious meals and cleans my house while I'm at work >I've got comfy government job >Putting 10% of salary into retirement with match from .gov >Debt free
I generally put 1/3rd of my after tax, after retirement contribution income into physical items that hold or gain value and use that as a long term/emergency savings account. I'm learning to trade forex and messing with crypto a bit as a side hustle, a couple years ago I made a few grand trading but I was really just chasing trends.
What should I invest in? We were looking buying a house but we live on the left coast currently and prices are stupid so we're waiting until we relocate to buy.
Two months back in the gym after several years off, yes. It could be genetic, maybe. My brother is benching 405 for reps and is shorter/lighter than I am and my uncle is a gold medal Olympian.
I didn't think either of those lifts were impressive. Every time I'm at my gym there are guys benching 315+ but I'm the only guy I see doing OHP.
100% chance the OHP is a spastic push press into olympic press tier of spine extension
are these your one rep max?
225 bench seems low if you can do 165 OHP
it is curious, isn't it
I have boulders for shoulders
then you'd bench more too, it's fine to do push presses just don't label them as "OHP" on online vietnamese basking weaving enthusiast forums
push press is based. Strict press is a waste of time and nogainz territory.
cope on retard
t. strict presses 135 for reps
I can OHP 0 pounds pretty easily. Am I leaning back too much or is this normal?
haha, nice one
push press, doesn’t count
It obviously counts if your goal is to lift a person over your head
have you ever kissed a wammin?
Sadly yes

Just manlet things
You are either
>quarter squatting
>an asian doing S/B/D only squatting x3 a week
>nooo I am too tall to lift the weights
my favourite cope
More of the second one. I'm squatting 3x a week but I figured most people talking about 1/2/3/4 are too.

My girlfriend is more than 165 pounds
>165
If only modern women were that light

If your girlfriend weighs 165, she is fat as fuck. Death to all "architects"
A woman should weigh between 85-110 pounds.
POUNDS not Kilograms.
weight is one of the less important measures
I'd rather have a pretty well shaped 150 lb girl than an unattractive stick
If your gf is 165 lbs, what are you doing
170
235
345
445
Why do you have this wildebeast saved to your computer
Real life Artemis
I don't even do OHP. But why would I date a woman that weights more than 110 lbs? You're getting into fat pig territory there.
Finally someone with common sense, Ameritards think that a 150lb woman, which is probably 5'4", is skinny.
165 x 0 is still zero OP
So OP, are you working your way up to over head pressing 2 girlfriends at once, or is your girl just a fucking whale?
>tfw gf was 5' 110lbs and could OHP her with ease
>she's now 170lbs and would crush me
You have failed as a man.
OHP your girlfriend instead OP.
Dear Jesus Christ lord in heaven i wish EVERYONE on this planet would also post in kg when posting in pounds. Amen

Am I making it bros?

there are better investments out there

>255x3 bench

>after two months
I'm sure the rest of your post isn't a larp either
Two months back in the gym after several years off, yes. It could be genetic, maybe. My brother is benching 405 for reps and is shorter/lighter than I am and my uncle is a gold medal Olympian.

Thanks for puffing up my ego.
Post lift video
Ok, bro. The next time I'm benching or doing OHP I'll record myself and make a webm for you.
Im not gonna ohp 3pl8s any time soon.
I disregard the opinions of any retard that still benches.
My gf weighs 95lbs at 5'5
>can ohp and bench these numbers
>cannot squat or deadlift these numbers
Is this bad SwoleShack? Always felt more upper body dominant than lower body.
these better be for reps
I can OHP 0 lbs like nobody's business
>225 bench, 315 squat and 385 deadlift talking shit
>165
You mean if you can't OHP 1.5 times your girlfriend's bodyweight, right?
My girlfriend is 5'8" and a little thick, which puts her at like 180
