butter too. it is less obesogenic, less bad for skin but somewhat more bad for cardiovascular system. original fat is bad, kills you and makes you fat view of diet from 70s to 90s was most correct and best dietary advice for masses. look at movies in 50s and 60s. male leads were pudgy. in 7ps thy got trim and by 80s they often were roided.
no, PUFA oils are still worse for your cardiovascular health, that being said this doesn't mean that you should eat half a stick of butter everyday, just go low fat but make it as saturated as possible
However, I still think it's a moot issue. This is a fitness board, weightlifters and athletes eat a shit ton of protein all the time. Plus a shit ton of fat on bulks. They don't suffer from obesity.
Sure but the obesity is a symptom of a larger problem. You can be a bodybuilder and look great and Still consume trash oils

At the end of the day it's CICO and gymcels autistically count their calories, you can't weasel your way out of this especially if you're eating a balanced macro. I'd argue that you don't need to count calories if you're doing HCLF or LCHF, ketotards are right about the randle cycle but they use it to shill their shitty diet sadly.

Then why do you have to count calories for keto to work? Lots of people get fat on keto.

Proper keto macro (low carb, restricted protein) can make you lose weight rapidly but sadly it's all muscle and water. people who got fat on a keto macro are either glutinous pigs or they eat too much protein, eating over 2000 calories of high fat meals is torture and a normal man would likely throw up everything in their stomach if they're forcing themselves, i've been there when i was obese.

Obesity is a symptom as well as the root of many other illnesses.
If you're a bodybuilder that "looks great" you're likely in better health than a vegan on a low-fat diet.
>Plus a shit ton of fat on bulks. They don't suffer from obesity.
What exactly do you think a "bulk" is, my friend?
>What exactly do you think a "bulk" is, my friend?
Purposeful weight gain? Fat can make you fat if you eat too much of it. So can nearly anything else.
Its not a wonder that the "high carb" countries are less fat. They're eating less calories.

>Purposeful weight gain
Weight gain leads to obesity. So bulking would also lead to obesity. The reason bodybuilders don't look obese is that they don't bulk year round, but they are in fact becoming more obese.

>weight gain leads to obesity
Wow what a shocking revelation!
You're missing the point. It's true that bodybuilders eat fat on a bulk, but the only reason they're gaining weight is because they're purposefully eating more than their TDEE.

That's the whole point. Carbs have less than half the calories as fat, gram for gram.

3000 calories of pure carbs won't make you fat, not the case when you're eating 3000 calories of pure fat

The statistics say vegans live longer, so I'm inclined to believe the studies. I'm not a vegan but I'm going with them over an anecdote

Most people aren't vegan and most of those same people are fat as fuck. Of course a vegan is going to live longer when you compare them against the average retarded consumer.
Good luck finding a "statistic" for who lives longer- a regular athlete or a vegan?

Regardless, is there an actual study on the average lifespan of a bodybuilder? I wonder how many die an early death from trooning the fuck out with roids.

It is really simple dude, fats are 9 calories per gram and carbs are 4.
Carbs though are an evolutionary rarity, when we found an apple tree, we would stay and eat all day.
Fats satiate you though. You will not over eat fats unless you are intentionally trying to OR also eating carbohydrates.
We dont have receptors to tell us when we are full of carbs, it is why we can crush a 20" large pizza have a food coma, then be starving 45 minutes later even thoigh we just ate 6000 calories.

I dont share the same experience. I notice when i eat nuts is when i get into those almost unstoppable binge. I can finish off an entire bag of nuts and still dont feel satisfied. It really feels like an animal trying to pack on fat for winter.
Not the case with fruits or grains. I can easily stop myself when i eat those.

There are actual signalers like ghrelin and insulin for carbs. On the other hand, you can store infinite fat.

>Meme image containing no sources while obscuring other important details gets reposted endlessly

You get it by studying the diets, obviously.
Link to studies?
It's not based on a "study", it's based on data.
https://ourworldindata.org/diet-compositions
You appear to be confused. Where in that chart is %carbs listed? And %fats? As was claimed in the OP?
If you actually click on the link, you'll see it.

when someone says 'fat is good' they arent talking about deep fried shit and milkshakes

No, you are eating a class A carcinogen.
You're well under starvation Calories, so no.
