I want to force myself to shit every morning before I leave for work/school. Coffee doesn’t do it for me. I have a nice Japanese washlet at home and using public toilets ruins my day. How can I make this happen consistently?

    Double the caffeine intake. Saying coffee “doesn’t work” for me sounds ignorant as hell. It’s a diuretic.

      Let me explain. My ordinary morning brew is 40g of coffee which is roughly 500mg of caffeine. I am not comfortable going higher than this. What I mean by “it doesn’t work for me” is that I still don’t get the urge to shit until a few hours later

    I drink half a liter of kefir every morning (we have the good shit here, the one where the fermentation didnt stop and the top cover bulges from built up gas), never had issues shitting. Get some natural probiotics like kefir, kimchi, Sauerkraut + some fiber into your diet and you will never worry about your bowel movements again.
