Is it common wanting to puke after leg day?

I guess. I only get like that when doing high rep squats.

do your accessory work first then squats last. this is optimal so long as you don't care about how heavy your squat is.

I do my squats first then dont have any strength for calves and hams and go home

Same. I power through the calf raises and leg extensions after the squat but it sucks absolute ass.

good job anon, 4 and 5 are next. 6 is around where you will need to put on a lot of muscle so it will take time.

I skip leg day most weeks. I'm lifting to look good not to thirst trap gay dudes.

My gf likes abs arms and back. Doesn't care about lower body. Only her opinion and mine matter.

I like because my legs have always been powerful
I can progress much faster in that part of the body than anywhere else

      >Same
When I was squatting regularly and trying to get my weight up, I would add 5lbs at worst every two weeks till I plateau at 3 plates or so for reps

    >5x5 180kg high-bar atg
    >2x5 140kg extra-atg long pause squats
    >3x5 180 deficit SLDLs
    >leg curls
    >leg extensions
    >seated+straight leg calf raises
I was dead after the second set sweating and twitching like a dying animal, from there I almost puked several times, couldn't breathe right or keep my eyes open most of the time, and apparetly sharted a little.
It never gets any easier, the stronger I become the more trouble the rest of my body has keeping up. I miss doing lightweight and not even breaking a sweat.

its the stiff leg dls, that is a stupid exercise that knocks you out faster than an elbow to the jaw. Just deadlift or do paused lowbar instead of atg pauses.

Yeah those finished me off, but there was a gang of zoomers on the leg curl machine. The pause squats were also supposed to be deep single-legged leg presses but that's a pipe dream at peak zoomer hours. Gotta grow from adversity.

feral zoomers in every gym, talking about "bussin" this and "no cap" that
and the politicians and the media talking heads are completely silent
we are in the end of days, truly

How are sldls stupid? Good morning would be the only thing comparable, but some people get all shook or dismissive at the mere mention.

I've never felt anything from good mornings. The range of motion of the bar feels tiny, like you're just moving your ass horizontally in an uncomfortable position.

Form, not enough weight? Anthropometry, who knows? Some people prefer a safety squat bar or camber bar too.

a safety bar allows you to hit the same awesome bottom position without pain

You just gotta do them consistently for a couple weeks. Eventually the position feels more comfortable than any other squat position, imo.
