Why shouldn’t I drink fizzy drinks in the gym exactly? Isn’t the issue with sugar that it’s fast burning pure energy and people don’t use it so it turns into fat. But if I drink it in the gym I use the energy immediately as it digests. Sometimes when I lift volume I feel sick in the gym and it fucks up my session a bit. Drinking fizzy drinks stops it. I have to assume it’s because my blood sugar drops
Sugar before the gym is actually based, people don't realize how much better that quick sugar in your bloodstream actually will benefit your training I always allow for a little sugared coffee before the gym even if I'm cutting and on a cut I get a real noticeable boost from it, you just have to understand that simple carbs are just another tool at your disposal that can be used to your benefit.
nah I’m in England it’s sugar. There’s a zero sugar version too. Corn syrup is not nearly as rampant over here. I’m not a fan of eating during a workout nor caffeine. But what you’re saying is that normal sugar isn’t that bad during a workout yeah?
I like lucozade. After looking into it they actually lowered the sugar content to get around the sugar tax thing and lots of people bitched about the taste. I didn’t realise or care so I’m fact ive been consuming a slightly healthier drink for a quick sugar boost if anything. ‘Zade is based
I’m not into high caffeine. I think it feels different for other people cause it makes me feel like shit. Wish it didn’t but it does
What's the energy in 'Zade? Is it just sugar? Sounds gay, I might as well just drink a double oreo frappuccino
It has caffeine. 46mg per bottle as opposed to 160mg in a can of monster apparently. That’s a good thing for me though. More caffeine than like a coke but it’s not really a full blown energy drink. It’s just a good sugar boost. I’m not about to go full blown drinking Oreo smoothies in the gym like a murican
really? Might try sip a monster at the gym. Don’t meme me bro pointless waste of a session if it just makes me feel like shit

its not a good habit to get into but it is fun in moderation, there's a reason pre workout (which is pretty much just a huge dose of caffeine) is so popular
i find it helps more with cardio than lifting, its like rocket fuel on long cycle trips
Orange one is fucking addicting bros I literally have to stop myself from chugging the 6pack anytime i open a bottle. Oh and the fruit Berry isotonic one is nice with vodka I drink that in the gym cuz it's discreet
how exactly does consuming basically pure energy when you’re burning energy destroy your gains? The muscle tissue still goes through a cycle of injury and recovery. More so if anything as you have more energy to injure the muscle tissue with

I like the cut of your jib son.
because the "glucose syrup" is most likely high fructose corn syrup under a cover name.
you could just drink an energy drink with real sugar, and have some molasses cookies, made with brown sugar.
