I’m 73kg and I can do like 15 reps at 80kg and like 8-9 reps at 90kg after the 80kg set. Should I try benching 100kg? I benched 102.5kg on march and only did one rep so I’m demotivated to go for 2pl8 if it’s only a rep. Also I was like 75 in match
How long am i supposed to rest between each bench set? i have been stuck on 1 pl8 for a couple months and struggle on the 5th set is 30secs-1 min too short? its what i do for most other exercises.
As long as you need until you feel ready to go again. Also, you shouldn't just do the same weight and reps for such a long time, either de-load and try to build up again, increase the weight but drop the reps, or increase the volume by adding a few sets with lower weight on top of your regular training. Unless you are a woman, being stuck on 1 pl8 bench shouldn't happen, at all.
go full fat retard mode and bench 2pl8 in next 6 months
Don't wanna get fat though
You need to eat to build muscle, anon.
>85kg to 100kg takes six months
How long does it take on average?
like 3 if you do shit right
*3 days
quickfix
2:30
2 mins of rest and 30 seconds to load the bar

Touch grass and sniff flowers.
I tried 85 for the first time today, got 3 reps. Got 6 reps at 80 last week. I'm guessing I'm probably 2 months away from a 2plate 1 rep
How much do you weigh?
81, lifting for 1 year

you can probably get 2-3 reps of two plate
I’m weak af
Nice one bro. Today I benched 5x5 @ 70kg. I will be increasing weight next session.
How many reps?
If 3+, you could quite possibly max out next week
>How many reps?
5x5
About 6 weeks adding 2.5kg a week and don't deload

Isnt 85kg over 2 plates already? Each plate is 20 kg, so 20 + 20 + 20 + 20=80
Plus the 20kg bar. 2pl8 is 100kg
But the plates have holes, don't you have to add small plates to make up the weight?
I'm going to kill you for posting animeshit
