>hypothetically, let's say the vegans were right
>meat and dairy is clogging my arteries and I'll die 5 years earlier
I don't see any reason why I should deprive myself of these delicious foods and become a social outcast in the chance that I might live a few more years.
>I don't see why I should risk deficiencies and emasculate myself for "sustainability"
Vegans of SwoleShack I'm calling you for a debate. Thoughts?
There’s a nonzero chance that in those 5 years they find the cure to aging
Even if they did i wouldnt take it.
I dont want to live forever that would suck.
No, there isn't.
>5 years earlier
>taken from the worst years of your life
who gives a shit?
Vegans have lower disease rates, higher QOL and are more happy.
>live longer in good health AND be happier
What's not to like?
80% of our crops go to feeding animals which is a piss-poor usage energy-wise. We could feed 30 billion with our current output if we stopped eating meat instead.
Not an argument.
A miserable human typed this post.
Vegans actually live 10-15 years longer on average and with far lower levels of chronic illness, chances are you'll get to enjoy your retirement while omnis are crippled and dementia-ridden.
But you have already failing health, look at your hairline. Doesn't seem to be a good deal to me.
Rambling assumptions are not arguments.
>look at all these jacked vegan men blasting steroids! This is proof that veganism is healthy!
That pic lmao
Obese people lose 4-11 years of their lives. Do you think the quality of life of an obese person is the same as a healthy person?
Do you think they lead the exact same lives until those last 4 years where an obese person magically dies?
No. Decreased lifespan also greatly affects the quality of your life. Those 5 years will also manifest right now as poor health and only fully kill you in the future.
You'll sing a different song when you're one year away from that 5y period
Not vegan but animals die and ecosystems are damaged whether you eat meat and dairy or not. If you care about environmental and animal welfare issues buy local pasture raised animal products and sustainably grown plant foods
Vegans should stop breathing. You're basically stealing oxygen from poor animals. You murderer.
It's been my view for a while now that if you really wanted to be moral about all of this you'd homestead. Chickens and a few cows and some acres of land to work to grow your own fruits and vegetables
>b-but I'd have to rape my cows for milk!
Let a bull have sex with the cows. What's so crazy about that?
>b-but eggs are baby chickens!
Chickens don't care at all about nonfertile eggs. They'll just shit them out and move on. They lay one every day to every other day.
>b-but humans aren't meant to eat other animals!
We can mark multiple mass extinction events in the carbon footprint of the planet from when humans migrated to a new area. We also started hunting millions of year ago and we have the physiological adaptations of a former herbivore turned omnivore because of how much meat. To deny yourself meat because you think that we didn't evolve eating meat is silly.
>b-but it's wrong to kill an animal! E-even for food!
Would you rather it be in the wild where it'd get mauled to death before being eaten while its still screaming in pain? Or would you rather it have a comfy life on your land where it's protected and cared for? You give this creature comfort, food, safety, and guaranteed offspring. In exchange, it forfeits its life. We've been making this deal for over 10 millenia now with these farm animals. It may not have been the natural order before but it is now. They were literally made in the image they are to be eaten in exchange for a life of comfort and happiness when done properly. Factory farming need not apply.
>b-but I can't afford to work my own land!
If you don't have the time and money then buy your food from local homesteaders and farmers who treat their animals and produce right. Jar and can what you need for the winter.
>b-but...
There's no leg to stand on here. Raise your own or get it from people who raise and grow their foodstuffs properly and with love. Eating tofu isn't saving an animal or whatever. Be better than the vegan ideologs.
>Would you rather it be in the wild where it'd get mauled to death before being eaten while its still screaming in pain? Or would you rather it have a comfy life on your land where it's protected and cared for?
So it’s the lesser of two evils. Imagine saving a human from certain horrible death, only to kill him yourself in a less horrible way. I don’t hate lions for being unable to resist their instincts, but humans should be held to a higher standard.
>I don’t hate lions for being unable to resist their instincts
This shows your priorities are not the real truth but your ideological truth.
The lion needs to eat other animals to live, it's as simple as that.
Humans need animal-derived food to develop and live optimally, it's as simple as that.
The global herbivore population hasn't really changed over the past 10,000 years, so you're not doing anything for the environment at all, except destroying wildland to plant onions.
Vegans are retarded.
might as well take roids with that mindset.
I once met a vegan dude and he was the first stoner I ever met. We hung out at his place and he got high, he offered me some weed but I declined. I made him watch the whole first season of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal while he was high. He just kept saying woah. Fucking low energy fuck. He was also prematurely balding. Lovely guy though. But I might just think that he's cool because he kept complimenting me on my intelligence and my physique.
why does that picture of the thinker sculpture have his hand on his mouth, that looks weird as hell. isn't it supposed to be a closed fist on his forehead?
you haven't looked into it nearly enough lole
