No one says you can't eat any snacks or goyslop but cutting it out of your usual diet makes it easier to resist the temptation of overeating on them. If you have the mental fortitude to eat snacks and then adjust your diet accordingly then that's perfectly fine.
I just don't like them, honestly. I have zero cravings for them and I find snacking unsatisfying, because I eat when I am hungry and whenever I am hungry I am craving a real meal, which just so happens to be relatively clean food. A snack is like I am cucking myself out of the real thing.

your TDEE is more or less the same at 10-12% bf as it is at 16-18% bodyfat.
so let's say it's 2500kcal, fuck if you are active it's easily 3000kcal a day. how do you have trouble eating 2500-3000kcal a day at your maintenance? it's piss easy, the hardest part is getting there and most people just never do the cut.

I can only stay lean though cardio + a really pro-metabolic diet (no static calorie totals). If you eat a consistent amount you just kind of adjust to that pace of things but if you get surpluses some days deficits others it tends to make everything work a little better at least in terms of staying lean. It's hard for gaining though.
Just get on T4 and be done with it.
