I roll it onto my head? The entire head or just the temple?
How many times do I roll it back and forth? 1 time? 10 times?
Do you press hard or do you press lightly?
Is it suppose to hurt? Should I see blood?
How often do you use it? Every day or every week?
Do you use it with minoxidil? If so, would you do it after you apply minoxidil or before?
What size does the derma roller need to be?
How long until you see results?
This has nothing to do with fitness.
It has to do with maintaining health. We have hair threads all the time
It is unironically a form of sexual fitness
I found out that it has to be bleed to start the hair recovery process. And making it bleed is very painful.
Is it permanent or do have to repeat often?
Wait wtf you have to make it bleed? BULLSHIT that sounds like a way to get an infection
Not true but a fun troll
No just red its not bad
Rolling thin over the head hurts
I do it because I am chad and if you dont like me 2 bad
But tears will come out of your eyes
Male tears are dripping from your ass
What the fuck is that?
Pokes your body with hundreds of little needles to stimulate blood flow which is good for skin repair and hair growth
I will benevolenty answer all your questions
>I roll it onto my head? The entire head or temple?
Do it wherever you need it most. It won't hurt you though to do it all over your head. The goal is localized collagen production so it will only affect the areas you needle on
>How many times do I roll it back and forth? 1 time? 10 times?
As many times as it takes. I usually don't count, I look for signs of flushing, tenderness and redness to tell me when my skin has been thoroughly microteared. I guess a good rule of thumb though could be back and forth one to two times that should get you there.
>Do you press hard or do you press lightly?
Ideally you should just hold it so that it is stable and roll. You shouldn't have to put any additional pressure on it if you're using the right needle length. Generally err on the side of lighter and not heavier to avoid scarring.
>Is it suppose to hurt? Should I see blood?
It's tiny little needles so yes it's going to hurt in more of a stinging pain kind of way, I'd compare it to a heat rash sensation after having a sunburn. A tiny bit of blood is normal.
>How often do you use it? Every day or every week?
If you're using a longer needle length, once a week max is all you need.
>Do you use it with minoxidil? If so, would you do it after you apply minoxidil or before?
If you're using a needle length longer than 0.5mm do not use minoxidil for at least 24 hours after your last microneedling session so it doesn't go systemic. So for instance let's say you get up in the morning and plan to needle the same evening. You would apply minox that morning but in the evening you would needle instead of applying the minoxidil. You wouldn't reapply minoxidil until the very next evening.
>What size does the derma roller need to be?
The studies done used 1.5mm needles however you can adjust that according to how fine or thick your hair is.
>How long until you see results?
Typical reports I've seen say about 3 months on average.
What's the right way to clean it and reuse it? How often can you reuse it?
Use a rubbing alcohol to clean. What I do is take a small shot glass and fill with alcohol just enough to submerge the roller head completely and then let it sit for a minute. As far as how long you can use them, it's recommended you discard them every few months or so because the needles dull over time from frequent use. It isn't dangerous to keep using them after that but at a point you're going to have diminishing returns.
does this also work for growing beard?
t. beardlet
It does
You're supposed to cram it. Up your ass.
