Copper competes with uptake of iron, and NO ONE is lacking in copper in their body. Copper is not a hard to find mineral in food because we require an absurdly low amount of it. Supplementing copper will only make you deficient in other minerals and can cause random nerve pain and damage from copper toxicity.
