I have crohn's. You don't just heal it you live with it. Get on some medication that will put you into remission. The only thing that bothers me personally is coffee
Are you able to get medical treatment? Ulcerative Colitis can't be cured, but it can be kept in remission. I know Remicade is expensive in the US, but if you can get it then it is really nice.

I’m on meds, yes,
But a lot of people have gotten off meds, for years.
Some say stopping stress, others say diet.

Your goal shouldn't to be to get off meds, it should to be too find meds that work. And that won't give you lymphoma. I might get off humira as it has a slight lymphoma risk
You can get remission. Maybe there will be a cure in the future. I'm pretty asymptomatic most the time. I drink all the time too. No coffee though

>Maybe there will be a cure in the future.
I think they want us on the meds anon, I believe the cures are already out there, for those that want them.
I don’t know, I think having hope of recovering is important.
Tho the chances are slim, it isn’t impossible
Yep. Reducing fiber intake helped heaps, and too much fat def fucks with me also. Like chronsanon said, goal should be remission not elimintating treatment. But better diet and less stress is never going to hurt you
Grant Genereux wrote a book on vitamin A toxicity where he presents data that chrohn's is heavily linked to vitamin A intake.
Try going on a strict beef + rice + bread diet (which restricts PUFA and vitamin A) for a few weeks or months and see if your conditions improve.
Gelatin is probably also a good bet for healing, however if the root of the disease is vitamin A burning away the stem cell layer of your intestines, then there isn't really anything you can do until your detox the vitamin A.

But what about all the people that cured it anon?
Why should we give up hope?
People self proclaiming a cure are usually full of shit. Remission is possible also. The goal is complete remission for as long as possible
I believe some of them, I think certain people can heal from anything, hey, my mum knows a dog that healed from colitis even

I take pentasa, I’m worried it will age me badly
Details on that? I'm on pentasa also...
I mean, you can look at the side effects of it. I imagine it’s going to do some harm long term of course, don’t know if it messes with Collagen at all
Low fat/low fiber diet
