Quark tastes better, but Skyr has almost twice the protein. I eat a 500gram bucket before bed every day. It had about 300kcals and 55grams of protein. Sometimes I add honey and cinnamon if I want to treat myself.
Someone give me the QRD on the differences between Skyr Quark and Greek Yoghurt
(I've only had quark before and greek yoghurt isn't in my supermarket but skyr is)
skyr seems way more popular than greek yogurt in Europe.
Most stores at least in Germany carry 17 different brands of "greek style" yogurts (all of which have trash macros) but I only ever found one "real" greek yogurt with good macros (Fage)
We do have a lot of Skyr though which has good macros and Quark which has good macros too but tastes like dry farts
Entirely retarded opinion. Greek Yoghurt is the lowest of these as it's kinda sour and runny. Skyr is decent. Quark is the best, but I only by the flavoured one, so maybe that's why.
Where are you from OP? Arla was on sale last week and I bought like 3 weeks worth of supplies. But the offbrand is cheaper still. And Arla's don't come with a plastic cover unlike your picture which is gay and homosexual.
>hate fruits
weird flex but kay
the fruit flavors are all fake sugary shit anyway.
I usually buy a liter of this Arla Cheasy, good shit, if it's sold outside of Denmark you should give it a shot, also try Ymer if you want something more sour that isn't Greek
like this memelord; don't be like him.
>cheaper than greek yogurt
LMAO. That shit is like $6 for one lil serving. You know it ain't cheap too because they don't sell it at wal-mart, but only at the rich supermarkets (fresh market/publix.)
I'll wait 5-10 years for all you consuuumers to buy it so they beef up production and reduce the cost/price, just like greek yogurt.
It's cheaper than the 0% fat equivalent GY. Or, in case of the actual cheap GY 0% shit; offbrand SKYR has double the protein so it's still cheaper if we calculate that into the equation. Also less carbs/sugar for those counting.

I eat one of those a day, here in the NL it's actually cheaper than whey.
based dutchbro, have you tried any other skyr brands? care to share opinion?
Different Dutchbro but I buy the Jumbo store-brand Skyr. It’s the cheapest and it doesn’t have the little layer of wet shit on top that dairy has sometimes.
Yeah. Jumbo's 2.50/kg same price/protein/fat as AH's Skyr. Arla's Bio Skyr was 2.50 for 900grams last week man. You missed out. >layer of wet shit diary
The whey? That's the best part.

Oh damn. Same 2.50 deal at Jumbo for the next 3 weeks. This bro be stocking up.

Go for the cheapest, just avoid Melkan, they seem to have poor quality control, last batch I bought 5 out of 7 were super acidic and inedible.
Meh. 27 cents extra/kilo for the premium product is worth it imo. Though I probably should do a more legit taste test to see which I prefer.
I've recently started eating Skyr instead of Greek yogurt and it's much better. It has a denser creamier texture and flavor. For Ameribros, I highly recommend the strawberry skyr from Aldi.
>meme sugars
Why even bother with healthy food if you're going with the fake sugary goyslop variants?
>Where are you from OP?
The UK
I also got Arla Skyr on sale last week. You can also can get a 450g container of store brand Skyr for 99p in Lidl, whereas their Greek yogurt costs around £1.39

no. no one here has ever consumed or even heard of skyr. you are the first person to do so
Yeah it's pretty good, but I'm a bigger fan of quark
i hate the taste and texture of greek yoghurt and quark, so the only option for me is skyr
Skyr murdered my father and raped my mother so quark is the only way to go for me

How the hell does your store not have greek yoghurt, but does have skyr?
It does have greek yoghurt (i think) but not any low-fat version so they are basically just regular yoghurt

the way it is made and different bacteria strains. skyr and quark are more like a cheese.
I meant more regarding the taste and what food it goes well with.
Entirely retarded opinion. Greek Yoghurt is the lowest of these as it's kinda sour and runny. Skyr is decent. Quark is the best, but I only by the flavoured one, so maybe that's why.
>It's cheaper than Greek yogurt where I'm from
lucky bastard
Also, I hate fruits. Only two of the bigger market chains sell skyr here, and only one of them sells it without fruit in them.
That kinda settles the deal that I'll only ever eat it when I walk into that one - and it's not close to where I live, or work, so it's a rare meal.

graham's is better

Naah man, that yogurts made of 100% recycled plastic
I wish they came with those plastic lids in my country. Arla skyr is great, got about 10 of these in my fridge.
>cheaper than greek yogurt

Costs the equivalent of $2 here, but most times it's on sale for $1 in my local supermarket.
you can make your own you know, it's very simple and hard to fuck up

For me, it's Icelandic Provisions Coconut.
Just get the regular one and add frozen strawberries.
I found one once and it was twice as expensive as greek yogurt so I'll just keep on not consuming any kind of yogurt.
You forgot that it tastes like piss and shit
yeap eat 400 g every single day... its slightly more expensive than greek yoghurt here though
Imagine eating 0 percent fat yoghurt how fucking retarded could you possibly be
