Quark tastes better, but Skyr has almost twice the protein. I eat a 500gram bucket before bed every day. It had about 300kcals and 55grams of protein. Sometimes I add honey and cinnamon if I want to treat myself.

It does have greek yoghurt (i think) but not any low-fat version so they are basically just regular yoghurt
skyr seems way more popular than greek yogurt in Europe.
Most stores at least in Germany carry 17 different brands of "greek style" yogurts (all of which have trash macros) but I only ever found one "real" greek yogurt with good macros (Fage)
We do have a lot of Skyr though which has good macros and Quark which has good macros too but tastes like dry farts

Entirely retarded opinion. Greek Yoghurt is the lowest of these as it's kinda sour and runny. Skyr is decent. Quark is the best, but I only by the flavoured one, so maybe that's why.

Also, I hate fruits. Only two of the bigger market chains sell skyr here, and only one of them sells it without fruit in them.
That kinda settles the deal that I'll only ever eat it when I walk into that one - and it's not close to where I live, or work, so it's a rare meal.
Where are you from OP? Arla was on sale last week and I bought like 3 weeks worth of supplies. But the offbrand is cheaper still. And Arla's don't come with a plastic cover unlike your picture which is gay and homosexual.

It's cheaper than the 0% fat equivalent GY. Or, in case of the actual cheap GY 0% shit; offbrand SKYR has double the protein so it's still cheaper if we calculate that into the equation. Also less carbs/sugar for those counting.

Different Dutchbro but I buy the Jumbo store-brand Skyr. It’s the cheapest and it doesn’t have the little layer of wet shit on top that dairy has sometimes.

Go for the cheapest, just avoid Melkan, they seem to have poor quality control, last batch I bought 5 out of 7 were super acidic and inedible.
Meh. 27 cents extra/kilo for the premium product is worth it imo. Though I probably should do a more legit taste test to see which I prefer.

I also got Arla Skyr on sale last week. You can also can get a 450g container of store brand Skyr for 99p in Lidl, whereas their Greek yogurt costs around £1.39

I usually buy a liter of this Arla Cheasy, good shit, if it's sold outside of Denmark you should give it a shot, also try Ymer if you want something more sour that isn't Greek

I've recently started eating Skyr instead of Greek yogurt and it's much better. It has a denser creamier texture and flavor. For Ameribros, I highly recommend the strawberry skyr from Aldi.
For me, it's Icelandic Provisions Coconut.
Just get the regular one and add frozen strawberries.
