Alright so my gym headphones just broke down (pic related) and I'm trying to decide on some new ones. What are your experiences with true wireless, wireless (+middle cord) or on/over ear headphones or earbuds in the gym? I have only been using a couple of pairs of true wireless earbuds and these worked well but broke down like every 2 years and had occasional connection issues.
Just copped some galaxy buds pro 2, noise cancelling is unironically perfect and sound quality is great. Used to have Sony wf1000x, still bretty good but the galaxys edge it (and stay in your ears really well).
How tf do those little naggers stay in your ears? I had to return mine since they kept falling out 0.0000001 seconds after putting them in my ears. I can't wear any in-ear earbuds though so it might be my ears that are the problem.
Use the biggest ear tips possible. After inserting, twist the earbud backwards a little so it's "locked" in your ears.
I'm a big dude with big ear holes and those galaxy buds fit me well.
How's the voice pass through? I have the old buds 1 (not pro) and the pass though is shit if there's background noise.
tell me you're tone deaf without telling me
I wear some Marshall Monitors. Works great, wasn't in the way like I thought they would be. I can also enjoy the music much better than with my previous in ears.
What I'm trying to say is, try normal headphones instead of the in-ear trash. You might find that it actually works.
make sure you don't get a wireless with middle cord that has a button player in the middle of it as that will get in the way, or even worse if it is asymmetrical as it will move around when you move around
You can get the Sony WF 1000XM3s for 90 dollars refurbished on Amazon, for reference when they were 230 bucks they still won awards. Killer value for money
Your picture shows earbuds, not headphones
i got airpods pro for free from work (benefit system), they are pretty good even with my android phone
I was wondering if they'd work well with android. Thanks, anon. Also, OP, I was using my over the ear sennys 598s (wired) at the gym and it was a huge pain in the ass. Headband sliding all over while laying down on the bench. Got in the way when trying to squat high bar and even OHP. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
Got airpods pro for xmas. Audio quality isn't perfect but ease of use and fit is great. I would have probably bought senneheisers. Blasting metal in the gym over spotify, though, isn't listening to my hifi stereo setup so who gaf?
soundcore liberty pro 3's can get them on amazon for less than $100 these days
I’ve used 2 different kinds of headphones, they both sucked. Finally caved and bought some AirPods, no complaints. They pair right away and I never have any issues with losing connection during a workout
Raycons are unironically decent and relatively cheap. Small and discreet and you don't wear faggy airpods.
>faggy
>douchey
what other words instantly expose you as a gay loser?
I just got the Beats buds for 90 bucks after my old ones broke, sound amazing and good for no slip from sweat for gym
Wired is trash and constantly get in the way. JLab has cheap wireless buds for 30 to 50 that work just fine. My last pair lasted 2 years and they only died cause I put em in the laundry on accident
Sony earbuds are GOAT
Anybody who suggests Apple garbage is a moron
Apple products are the definition of mid tier junk overpriced as high tier tech because morons will pay for it (this goes for all their products not just earbuds)
