OP here. It's not a tank top, it's an a-shirt. The thing 1940s people wear under their suits.
Even the filename says so. I lift in a tank top for fucks sake.
Rack, bench, plates, barbell.
A year's worth of a gym membership is worth around $800-1200. Two years of a gym membership is $1600-$2400. Three years, $2400-$4800.
A homegym is a one and done thing and it lasts the rest of your life. If you plan on lifting for the majority or the rest of your life, then it's infinitely less expensive. Learn 2 save money
He's full of shit, even including annual fees I pay less than half of that for the VIP membership at my gym (which I only have for the multi location access), and the basic costs less than half of *that*
t. amerishart
Even if his numbers are retarded the point still stands, unless you're planning to stop working out in a few years then you'll end up saving money, especially since your gym membership's price staying the same is not a given, not to mention the value of the convenience of just having to walk into the other room as opposed to driving or walking to the gym.
>here bro
Yeah I'm talking about over here bro. Not over there bro. Tf tf? Ngl nigga tf cap fr fr? Lol 😀 zoomspeak
I don't know how much 350 pounds or euros is in USD.
>$800-1200
Jesus no wonder americans are such fat pieces of shit when the bar to entry is so high, it almost excuses them
I pay like £300 for 12 months of Puregym
It isn't a bad barrier of entry. Maybe it excuses us from being DYELs but in order to lose the weight all we would have to do would be to stop guzzling corn syrup. And that is asking the impossible.
>I pay like £300 for 12 months of Puregym
Again I'm not sure how much that is in $ but we don't have majority white populations here either, and my point about how people don't wash their hands after using the bathroom still stands. I don't believe in the mask nonsense but if there's anywhere you could be excused for being a germaphobe, a commercial gym would be one.
>Again I'm not sure how much that is in $
why are you such a fucking stupid nagger replying to these anons without just fucking googling "350 euro to usd" you fucking retarded cretin. god i fucking hate you
A decent rack w/ pullup bar is at least $200, if you want dip bars maybe 250-300
Barbell $80-100
Adjustable bench $125
Set of plates 2.5 to 45, iirc mine were $250
Complete cable pulley setup will cost you another 80 bucks off amazon
You're looking at around 800 dollars for the basic setup and itll be clunkier compared to a gym with good equipment
commuter joggers, a decent pair of tennis shoes, and a well fitting t-shirt. literally easy af, and casual enough to wear about your day before the gym.
I wear dirty ass Walmart "George" brand white t shirts and Walmart cheap joggers/sweats I'm not trying to look good lmao homosexuals. By the way "George" brand Walmart stuff is that just perfect amount of new 3rd world slave labor to quality ratio that can't be beat. Get fucked China, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Vietnam are gonna take your lunch.
I have ten of those white v neck george shirts, makes up most of my non-work/gym attire. Hands down the comfiest fitting shirts I've ever had, I will never spend over $10 on a shirt again.
Amazing that's the exact one I was talking about. Hanes and all that shit absolutely BTFO'd. I'm dead serious, all those old China shirt brand are terrible now and the neck blows out in 3 weeks. I got George pants from 4 years ago and these tees are 6 months deep.

I buy my cheap staple exercise shirts from Uniqlo. Their Airism crew Ts are a really nice material/feel which also (as a plus) seems to show a lot of your muscle definition through the shirt because its kind of shiny... good for when you are not fully into a bulk. It also has the best fit for athletic builds that I've found, and they are priced pretty reasonably. The brand "32 Degrees" Cool Ts are similar and also very cheap but I don't think they fit as well. The sleeves are slightly longer which I find isn't great for making biceps pop
obliquely related--- I'm 5'8" and have I think a 27 or 28" inseam but I also have giant squatter's thighs and calves. Where tf do people with a build like this buy joggers or gym pants that actually fit? Most seem to be very long inseams and I always have them bunched up at the ankle... the joggers I have from nike are well over 32" I think. I tried a pair specifically for shorter men from this company Under 5'10" but my thighs are exploding out of them... plus I am looking more for designated gymwear with lots of stretch/flexibility and more of a sporty look. What do you guys do?
Hardmode--- it isn't a $70 bullshit pricetag for a simple item of clothing that a Bangladeshi sweatshop made for $1.50
Dressing well at gym is a challenge when your body isn't as presentable as your goal demands it to be. I mean, if one had the stock standard benchmark body, e.g. Barrel chest, boulder shoulders, flat stomach, arse that fills slacks and good sized quads, you could dress in a way to accentuate your features in the most simplest way possible. Even just a tight shirt and tapers track pants would get you some in's.
But I can't help but think that if your body is less than ideal, playing to your strengths while dressing in darker colors is the way to go. Maybe even branded shit. Branded but tasteful. At the very least, tricking hoes into thinking you've got money to burn.
Unless theres some sort of dress code, just wear what you want. Wear what you like seeing yourself in; what shows off your best assets and makes you feel good. Be proud of your progress and the body you're working hard to make.
I pay a lot for my gym but it includes other things like childcare for 2 hours so I can actually go to the gym. it's cheaper than daycare and the window of opportunity for my kid to see a drag show is more limited
Does it make you insecure ?
it does make him insecure
hey OP if you dont have it, dont show it. Im lifting in a tanktop right now

*wore
Forgot past tense
I wear dirty jeans and Carhartt T’s or that meme monkey shirt. It’s an extra mog when I outlift all the DYELs wearing gym shark and other cringe shit
I have that same exact meme monkey shirt. It's my motivation. I want to wear it to the gym once I feel I deserve it.
Why go to the gym? Homegyms are infinitely less expensive and you don't have other people's poop fingers all over your barbell and whatnot.
>Homegyms are infinitely less expensive
maybe in the 90s

what if im homeless and need a place to shower after work and also want to lift some weights?
Mate my gym is 20 euros a month and I live in Western Europe. By my calculations that's €480 over 2 years.
I have a home gym and I'm constantly adding to and upgrading it in order to keep my workoutd fresh and shock my muscles.

Hit your shoulders with a shirt that exposes them and you'll never wear anything else. My striations are busin
Imagine giving a fuck what other people wear
Only a fag like OP will
What's some gym attire that actually looks presentable enough to make you seem like an approachable human being?
Shirtless, Jean shorts and crocs.
Hold up you're telling me I'm not the only non-pajeet that lifts in jorts?
I have a Ted K "white boy summer" shirt to complete the fit and make sure everyone knows I'm severely autistic
Please post the shirt
I'm really happy with how the cutoff turned out
Based traps appreciator, also checked
Based, Mirin traps
commuter joggers, a decent pair of tennis shoes, and a well fitting t-shirt. literally easy af, and casual enough to wear about your day before the gym.
>looking at other men
fag
whats some shoes for the gym? my cons just broke and I want somehting new
Why won't you fix your cons tho? Less money spent and ultra based.
Under armor makes some good trainers.
I like slip on vans but theyll suck if theyre new. I wear my old beat to shit pair.
>tank top to show off muscles
>gray sweatpants to show off dick
>barefoot shoes to show off autism
if you're SwoleShack you shouldn't wear a shirt in the gym
You don't go naked to your gym? (nohomo)

Meanwhile Chinese sweat shops probably be pumping out military fatigues

I'm not wearing your boomer, polyester bodysuits with superman printed on it. I'm not sorry about it either.
