everytime I get off the dip bars the shoulder pain hits me all at once.going over 10kg increases de pain a LOT even though I have the strength for a little over 1 plate
It depends on the shoulder mobility. In generalz our shoulders are not designed to go beyond 45% behind our back with large weight. Some people can do it deeper without any issues, others will fuck their shoulders even with lover angles.
you can do everything without issues until you have issues. this place and internet in general is full of newfags so its whatever just lift for the random couple of years doing what you want and fuck off. it doesnt really matter, but once you have been lifting for 10-15 years, smart lifting decisions really start to add up. plenty of people benched 12 years without any problem ever until suddenly they fucked themselves up and never benched again. does this mean you shouldnt bench? whats the risk:reward ratio? idk, its your call.
i would rather do bodyweight dips as a finisher for my last exercise when im already the most fatigued so i dont need to do weighted dips. 3s concentric + eccentric and you will be screaming for help after just 10 reps.
>do this since I was 15 but only with bw >now 30 and still do only these for my chest but with 25 kg on top of my bw >never had any problems with shoulders
You have shittty bones or joints, probably low T
i got a lower chest injury from them once, my upper right side of body is stronger because of a left forearm injury from a year ago so i must have been compensating without knowing. My right pec is visibly larger than left. shoulders never felt anything to be honest even going low as fuck
they are great however I prefer the triceps biased variation, you go full mega ROM and keep your elbows and feet straight, massive stretch on the triceps on the bottom position
also takes -20kg off your working weights and seems friendlier on the shoulders
Dips are great and they are even better if you perform them like on rings. Push really through, squeeze your pecs and serratus. Insane chest pump/feeling

stop doin meme exercises now before it's too late
>ungrinds your shoulders into undust
nothing personnel
Is it possible to hang these rings from a pull-up bar?
Of course, although you probably won't have a lot of space.
Works on my machine. Stop dipping below parallel.
You have to let your shoulder blades move. Plenty of people dip more than 6 plates without any shoulder issues

No, it's actually skullcrushers behind your head aka. french press (not sure, they are getting mixed up by everybody) that really fuck your shoulders.

I remember when pullups were the hardest thing when I was a kid.
just do a set of pushups before doing them
Name one marvel scene where the hero doos these?
Spiderman web slinging

I fucking love dips bros
