Me personally? I'm not sure if 1000 bucks would get me this far but >bench and barbell with some heavy-ass weights >those adjustable powerblock dumbbells (I think they go up to 70 kg) >pull-up/dipping station (band assisted if needed) >Boxing bag or a woman, whichever fits what remains of the budget
Weights cost over $2 per pound where I live. I bought a pair of 100lb dumbbells during the spring and it cost me over $400. I also bought a sturdy gym quality bench that can support up to 800lbs and that cost another $400+.
But I'll play along with your game. If I had no gym equipment and only $1000 to spend I'd probably just buy calisthenic equipment and some kettlebells
Bros, I have $3000 to spare for a "home" gym.
I live in an apartment though, so I cannot get a power rack or any large machines.
Can I achieve good enough results with dumbbells?
For Germany my setup:
UFC Bench ~150€
Hop Sport Power Cage with pull up bar ~220€
Physionix weight rack ~100€
MAXXIVA Barbell 180cm ~40€
Roughly 100€ for yoga mat and floor puzzle mats, how much depends on how much you value your floor
A few kettlebells, two of them the same weight for farmers carry, a light one for turkish getups and other meme exercises and one for kettlebell swings. Price varies heavily because metal kettlebells are expensive as fuck right now.
Cry as you no longer have enough money for a decent amount for plates, as iron plates are at 1kg=3€ and you are not dyel enough to get far with the cheaper 1kg=1€ bumper plates.
Also maybe get some dumbells, I don't like them much.
All made in China or Taiwan, nothing has broken and killed me (yet).
Yeah those prices hurt. Also 20kg kettlebells 60€ because they are made from iron, wtf. They used to be 20€.
If the OP is really dyel maybe he can buy bumper plates, a full long barbell like that with 10kg bumper plates is maybe 100kg and with 100€ still in budget. Afaik there is concrete inside so the price didn't rise nowhere near as much because of the war.
Maybe not strictly 1000$ but in CAD >400$ for amazon cage (with pullup bar) >120$ olympic barbell >50$ for used 50 lb adjustable dumbell (x2) >5$ chain from a hardware store for weighted pullups >2 inch metal plates for roughly 1.5$/lb if you're patient enough >some wood-foam layeted flooring from home depot (10$/m^2) (×10) >that pushup backpack thing that has a 2 inch pole to plugin plates on (50$ I think)
A good standing kickboxing bag, some dumbbells with 100 pounds of plates to go with them, and some Thai pads and a body pad for when I have guest over.
Maybe a cheap minimalist bench if there is any money left in the budget, but I already improvise just fine without it.
If I had a higher budget I would add mats and a reasonably heavy grappling dummy to the setup to just for fun.
If you ain't a martial artist then taking out the bag and pads and replacing them with a barbell, more weight plates, and cardio equipment you will actually regularly use would be a better setup.
Kettlebells are also decent.
>ceiling mounted pullup bar (wall-mounted if you want to do muscle-ups) >contractor bags, duct tape, and play sand >adjustable sandbag >suspension trainer (make one or get rings, don't buy a TRX) >dip belt >something to prop your feet on (a bucket full of sand works) >resistance bands (for reverse-banding weird suspended lifts I invented that no human can do unaided)
Got me through lockdowns, will cost you way less than a grand, and nice to have lying around whenever you save up enough to get a rack, bench, barbell, and plates.
>barbell >adjustable db bars >adjustable bench >pull up bar >plates
There, it's all you need to start. Just do db press and zercher squats while you don't have a rack.
Rack with chin up attachment, barbell(s), set of plates, bench; whatever the highest quality I could get for $1000
I'd honestly rather supplement that with a $10-$20/month gym membership for cable/DB work than buy a cable tower and entire line of dumbbells and have all that extra crap in my possession to worry about
Guys I have a Rogue SML-2 squat rack.
Should I get the half rack attachment and some plate pins to weigh it down and use as plate storage? $300 price tag
Sex doll and a 200 pound punching bag
2 sex dolls
I want to sabotage her Heavy Objects if you know what I mean.

Everyone knows her bloodline only gives birth to sons so I'd seal the deal any way j physically can.
1 sex doll and the rest spent on the amazon wishlist of my favorite onlyfans goddess
power rack, barbell, 2 45 bumpers, 135 iron weight set, adjustable bench
Why don't you just buy a little sign that says "I LOVE SUCKING COCKS" while you're at it?
Because I already have one
Kys
whats ur problem man
kek
I’d use $200 on a bike and the other $800 for membership at a gym that will actually have enough equipment to get a good workout
Finally someone with a fucking brain.
$1000 will buy you fuck all for a home gym, you need like $40-50k
only 40-50k? are you poor or something! A home gym needs a parking lot too!
Nothing. I would never use amazon because i'm not cattle.

you're not helping
also dumbbells are a meme
Why would you ever need 100lbs dumbbells?
Chest press, RDL, farmers walk, calf raise
Ok maybe farmers walk. The others no.
Because I'm dyel and I like being strong?
$1000 is not enough to fix my ceiling height. Can't put any power racks inside due to it.
Bros, I have $3000 to spare for a "home" gym.
I live in an apartment though, so I cannot get a power rack or any large machines.
Can I achieve good enough results with dumbbells?
>apartment
No. Stop.
yes, even a hobo home gym with only dumbbells is better than nothing
start with a bench, adjustable dumbbells and an air bike or elliptical
there's also these Bowflex home gym machines but no idea how good are they

Dumbbells and a pullup rack. That's LITERALLY all you need to get aesthetic.
>inb4 copeshitters seethe

how much weight do you need to start? I mean plates for barbell
._.
A good rack and barbell you can get for ~400
Spend the rest on plates
A good standing kickboxing bag, some dumbbells with 100 pounds of plates to go with them, and some Thai pads and a body pad for when I have guest over.

a sex doll, some lube, and a new pullup bar

Power tower, incline bench and adjustable dumbbells, PS5
pair of powerblocks and a bench
Olympic Weights, Power Rack, Flat Bench, and some floor mats to make sure the floors don’t get scratched up.
With everything included, this can run less than $1000, but I’m not sure if that would include taxes. You get what you pay for.
A weighed vest 40kg, a pull up bar with dips. All you ever need.
sex doll for cardio
I can already just walk outside and pick up a big ass stone and play around with it
Guys I have a Rogue SML-2 squat rack.
Should I get the half rack attachment and some plate pins to weigh it down and use as plate storage? $300 price tag
