>Fish Oil is Bullshit
>Fish Oil can't help Cognitive Function
After Taking it for a few months
>Can learn a hell of a lot better
>Mood is more stable
>Can actually feel functional again
So what fucking gives? Why do they say Fish Oil is useless for the brain when it clearly does work for people (who need it, and provided they have a high quality brand and store it in a cool place at all times)
Because your anecdotal experiences don't apply to the larger population?
i've gontten te best gains in any department listening to anecdotal evidence.
guess what happens when you have 10 000s of anecdotal evidences? might as wel call it peer reviewed proof.
science papers can't be trusted these days. better to trust anecdotal evidence online. if I trusted the sciencepaper guys i'd be a vegan now.
>Claims fish oil helped his cognitive function
>Can barely type a coherent sentence
What did he mean by this?
You should've seen him before the fish oils!
I don’t know, but I am happy being unstably stable with live fire combat experience being unstably stable. My memory is potently limited.
essential fatty acids
I think there are some studies where they dripfeed people with them and they literally see sped up cognitive repair very fast from being mentally handicapped
not sure if im schizo or if that was an actual thing, remember it from way back if my mind is not faulty
placebo is very strong though but saying that essential things for your cognitive functioning isnt beneficial is kinda tarded
more than likely it lowered your triglycerides and you're experiencing the benefits of not being a fat shit.
I've been taking it for more than week and I already feel less tired
placebo
That lasts for months? Is everything a placebo to you?
Don’t forget to update your vaccination status naggers. Some of you need it.
fish oil manufacturers themselves say tha t50% of the contents of fish oil is destroyed in the heating process, they then add back in some sythetically produced Vitamins A,E,D. But the DNA and EPA is useless.
The traditional way of extraction through fermentation does not destroy the DHA and EPA and you can still get that, look for fermented or raw on the label and also look for cod liver oil as opposed to the general "fish" oil.
In general it is a great supplement and the first supplement, but it has become tainted through quickened extraction methods, and the end consumer is not informed that the product has suffered damage
Typo'd
>DHA and EPA
May explain why it doesn't work for a lot of people. I am using the Nordic Naturals brand, which molecularly distils the oil to get rid of toxic metals and shit.
"All fish oil‚ regardless of the kind of manufacturing process used‚ needs to be processed in order to remove contaminants and pass minimum laws and standards (such as California's Proposition 65). This process always requires the use of heat. However, heat itself does not cause oxidative damage to the fish oil‚ it can only affect the rate of oxidation. Without the presence of free radicals or oxygen, there is no oxidation to speed up. This is also why nitrogen-flushed fish oils can handle being shipped, delivered, and stored in even the hottest climates and still taste great." From the website.
Also I actually don't swallow the capsule, I just bite into it and suck the oil out...it doesn't produce a fishy burp and it tastes great. That may be why it's working for me because it's a legit high quality brand.
>checked
that sounds like a good brand.
The one I have used is from rosita

This one looks really good, thanks. Gonna order the liquid.
Where did you get it doesn't work? I only read that in /fit. Any other source seems to indicate fish oil is good for a lot of things.
>taking omega 3 supplements unironically
Just eat more fish you naggers.
>eating fish
found the gaylord
If you want something that actually helps with mental illness, depression, mood swings, OCD, racing thoughts etcetera try NAC. Fell for that meme after it was shilled on /misc/ and it actually fucking works. Fish oils are in my experience a complete meme. NAC Makes me feel a lot more balanced and neutral mood-wise, which is both good and bad.
Shill thread
No actually, just wanted to hear some other opinions on this.
I don't care about the cognitive benefits, I want to take them for the inflammation and acne. Do you guys had great results in that area ?
whatever meme articles or studies you're being exposed to that say omega 3 isnt one of the most important things you can put in your body for mood and general health is wrong, we've known this shit to be on par with anti-depressants and a little red wine in terms of cognitive boosting for years, on top of it being good for joints
that said, stop wasting your money and buy bulk scales-bones-on sardines
Can confirm most people who think fish oil doesn't work probably bought a rancid walmart brand and kept it for too long. The shelf life for fish oil is bad regardless the quality. I also eat fish 2-3 times a week
I dunno man it helped my joints when on gear is all I know
