>be me
>workout for the first time
>hard and exhausting but I pull through
>went to bed, slept for the night
>wake up next morning, excited to feel the burn again
>get to workout for the second time
>super tired, no energy
>somehow feels like I lost muscle overnight
what the fuck IST i tried the fitness meme for self improvement and now i feel like shit and I've lost strength...
got any tips?
Nope, back to vidja and porn, you gave it your best
>No rest days
>rest days
im not scared to give it my all frens
That's cool but you can't work the same muscle two days in a row, it's counterproductive
fuck off you can as long as the volume is low, ie e sets per day
you should aim for 15 sets per body part per week and you can do them everyday if you like
Mate not doing rest days is killing your gains
Hi jeff
If you truly give it your all you will rest and gain on the rest day.
Doing no rest day is for intermediate to advanced lifters who can judge how much fatigue they have built up.
Protip: working out doesn't build muscle. Not an ounce. It just begins the recovery process in which you actually build muscle.
That's why you rest.
read the sticky, dummy
>he doesn't know
not interested in following a consistent routine, just want to get in shape.
>not interested in following a consistent routine
>just want to get in shape
"not interested in diet, just want to lose weight"
S tier bait.
and I recently felt my arms and there's like a big handful of loose skin that I can fully grab with my hands
what did you guys do to me?
yeah keep doing all of this until you don't feel like that anymore, happens to everyone who starts out, also why most people quit early
>never exercised in his life
>tired after exercising
yeah no shit
so take a rest day then do it agin
I've been hitting the gym pretty hard for a week but I'm just not seeing the gains I was promised.
I have a bodybuilding competition next month, will creatine help me?
One whole week? Damn, leave some gains for the rest of us. But to answer your question, yes.
sometimes you go and the other guy doesn't show and/or you win because judges think it's funny
How long have you been training though really? Good luck in your comp
I did a few curls in highschool during gym class once or twice. hoping muscle memory should carry me
why cant someone give me advice that doesn't involve resting?
im sick of being fat and i just want to be in shape and get over this
Yeah you're just setting yourself up for failure. You need workout and diet plans, rest days, maybe even supplements. If you really want to get in shape you definitelt need a plan, because you will do it faster with a plan, and proper diet. If you fuck arround once in while when you get that small burst of motivation you will burn out like a matchstick.
>wtf why can't years of gluttony be instantly cured by working out once
you are taking words out of my mouth
I finally like doing something and you
you just act like an asshole to me because you don't like me succeeding
since I finally have motivation to start exercising more i dont want to waste all my mental energy
i need to start working out while i have a chance with no rest days
I've had a "rest day" for my entire life so far and now is my time, my time to change things for the better so you either love me or you hate but dont mess with me
No rest days? No cardio? There's your problem.
15min of cardio is a must if you want to improve your energy levels. (Especially if you were a fatty.
>sweats for the first time in his life, without even taking care of diet
>Tired because body has to adapt to workout
>quits IST
mind over matter man
>got any tips?
think about life in a grander sense. think about things in terms of years, potentially decades. one month should be the shortest length of time wherein you consider a new habit and whether it will actually make a difference in your life. you cannot think like baby, where one day is a third of your life. you must think like a man, where the last five years have been a short experience.
2 days? wow nice meme guys
