His isn't the best bend but yeah, some bend is fine if you want to load more weight on during training. Makes it easier. Most competitions will allow for arching in general, though it's good to check in case you happen to get one that's pissy about it.
You only like the bench press because it’s easy and the most amount of weight you can lift for upper body.
Incline bench feels better
OHP (2pl8+) is more impressive

I can’t bench heavy anymore because my shoulders are sawdust now. I only do incline with dumbbells now
