i dont think ive ever even seen this shit before
Seated calf raise
Stop bouncing the weight and letting your tendons do all the work, OP. Control the reps, for seated calf raises you should aim for a 2-3 second eccentric, pause, 1-2 second concentric, squeeze, and repeat for 10+ reps.
Also don't forget straight leg calf raises to train the entire calf.
These do well for me. Like what this guy said, treat it like a normal movement. You don't do curls but swinging your arms and letting momentum do the work, do you? Surely you don't bounce the barbell off your chest when you bench right?
He's so fucking handsome I can't even. I wanna ask him out but what if he rejects me?
What muscles would be highlighted on him during a fuck
Glutes cuz he's def a powerbottom.
i do these in the middle of workouts as active rest
Because you forgot how to use your imagination. Set on there and make swoop bike or motorcycle noises. See how fast you find your core twisting and turning, how you instinctively lean forward and flex your shoulders. Live a little anon and you’ll see it works just fine.
man these burn so good. Only thing similar is wrist+finger curls for the forearms.
Is it actually useless? I can do 180 x 12 x 3 now and my calves look pretty nice.
I wonder if it's a result of seated calf raises or a result of being overweight for a decade and then losing it.
do it standing on a stepping stool in the smith machine
Also power walk or jog on a high incline
thank me later
nothing except cures shin splints
good thing to know about if you're doing your cardio then, checked
Nice feet Stiffy.
I always feel this exercise in my midfoot moreso than my calves. How to fix? ;_;
No calf lift I've ever done really feels like I'm working them. Still do them just in case and my calves are in proportion with my legs so nobody accuses me of skipping leg day.
Not looking for tips btw.
the "free standing" ones are waaaay better than these that can only go up and down.
Did this before one week and still have doms. Never had such terrible doms in my life
