Really curious to see what your core looks like if you actually do follow that routine. Only people I've seen do that routine are teens who cant manage to stick to it and fitness influencers
Not saying you are, just really curious to see if it really does anything

I'm not that big, 6'2 190lbs, my stats are naturally achievable for most people, but I have pretty good insertions.

my country is a giant meadow, grass just starts growing on any random black patch of dirt.
I'm dirty bulking anyway and I feel so much better I don't waste my time like you do.
Maybe you do 30 minutes isolations on your biceps, triceps, forearms, chest.
Perhaps you work out 5 hours a day. Embarassing.
If you aren't doing isolation work after your main compound lift for the day then you're guaranteed to be a forever DYEL, but I'm sure the mirror has been telling you that for years so you don't need to hear it from me.
we're all individuals and what works for us doesn't necessarily work for others.
the only way to find out what works for you is to just do it and adjust accordingly.
You're definitely right. I'm on my 4th month of lifting and currently don't do anything to isolate the core. I'll incorporate some ab accessories next week though.
I do machine crunch at the end of the leg day. Will probably try hanging leg raises at some point now that I switched deadlift to romanian deadlift. I have really hard time losing stomach fat anyway so mainly just doing it a bit for core strength.
saturday is ab day for me. just got back after an hour long ab sesh so i have a THICK ab pump. even got to lift my shirt and flash it to this cute gym thot as i left, made it look like i was just wiping my face with my shirt. UNF. wonder if she got as horny as i did. as for my routine i go through every ab exercise on exrx that i can do with my gym's range of equipment and do 5x20 with 30 second rest, then 2 minute break and 1xF. and i alternate with weighted incline crunches for the same number of sets/reps so i do as many incline crunches as all the other exercises combined
Absolutely. Every single guy I have ever seen at the gym that has abs train their abs really hardcore. Basically every workout. The whole abs are made in the kitchen is a complete meme. It applies to fake natty roiders and people who can do 2/3/4/5 for reps minimum.
If you are just an average gym lifter you absolutely will not have ripped visible ab definition without doing isolation exercises. It's like saying you don't need to train shoulders or triceps because you do bench press.
yes, here's my entire ab routine.
40 bicycle crunches.
1 minute plank.
1 minute side plank (right)
1 minute side plank (left)
80 mountain climbers.
----- pause ------
25 raised knee crunches
15 jack knife situps
in this order, 3 times.
Do you do this alongside your lifting? How long do you stay in your crossfit box?
I just do it at home since it's bodyweight on off days.
don't cheat yourself on planks, instead of doing them longer just do them harder by moving the floor position of your arms further away.
yeah, i have been lazy about it lately tho
i hadn't thought of putting my arms further apart, i'll try that.
That is too much ab routine.
A person doing hanging leg raises will lead to more results and less time.
it literally takes 30 mins to do it all, what are you on about.
That’s 30 minutes you could’ve been succeeding in
post ab results from only doing hanging leg raises.
(you wont)
I won’t. Because that’s time I could’ve been using to succeed.
Man how long have you been lifting ? I'd guess a week or month and you watch some AthleanX bullshit vids. There's more muscle to prioritize than abs.
been doing this routine for years.
> There's more muscle to prioritize than abs.
which is why I do 30 mins of it on off days, and which is why you won't post your abs.

Junk volume: the post
>won't post abs: the post.
Post abs
I have.
Nice photo did a fucking dwarf take it?
dad took that one to send it to my mother, he's the same height as me though.
somewhere around 12% probably.
no particular diet, don't track macros, don't track calories, I know roughly what I eat in a day though.
Does your dad know that your mum can’t eat the mushroom? It’s just a photo.
the mushrooms are good for eating and no one's going to convince me otherwise.
M8 she can’t eat a photo
Embarrassing someone actually spend time to do this. . . Someone with no life lol
>30 min routine
>won't post abs as counter argument
yeah think I'll stick to it.

yes I learn tradition brake and antilocking brake when I get my license to drive the big wheeler
i dont know
too much probably, they start to stick out further than my chest
let me guess
Why does everyone say that you don't have to isolate abs as long as you do compound movements anyway? Where did that take come from? Experience?
It's always either don't isolate abs or do hanging leg raises/ab roller (ofc with proper diet, but even lightweights can have fat bellies)
Anon you can’t rely on anybody else but you for this.

you're going to make it with that attitude, don't listen to IST, no one's opinion here matters unless they're willing to post body (which they won't)

Weighed crunch, Russian twist, leg raises
